Without telling you to suck eggs its really obvious.....say if someone is a striker then they need move into channels etc...When I did my last game I gave random ones to what people selected as there mental/physical/technical stats....i.e if someone selected the want a high free kick stat then I gave them the preferred moves that matched like hit free kicks with power etc...some of the others like run with the ball etc or tries tricks I gave randomly on how I felt at the time!!
Example of a player I will use jack clifford
As an creative AMC I would give:
Runs with ball through the centre, Gets into opposition area, Tries killer balls often, Plays one-twos, tries tricks, tries first time shots, runs with ball often
