Although Massimo Allegri's inevitable departure was on the horizon, Andre Villas-Boas's Milan squad had never looked so healthy thanks to a summer of heavy investment.

However, Villas-Boas's new-look team have managed to score 39 goals in the first 17 rounds of Serie A fixtures.
It is fair to say that it has been an eventful four-and-a-half months for Milan, and Sky Sports has recapped the turbulent period below.

Milan got the new campaign underway with a 1-1 draw at Serie A holders Juventus thanks to Mario Balotelli. Along with Samuel Umtiti, Eder Alvarez Balanta and Asier Illaramendi, was one of four new signings making their Milan debuts at the San Siro.
Balotelli's goalscoring exploits continued as he netted two more goals in the next seven days. His well-taken brace inspired a 2-0 win at Reggina.

AC had been accused of showing a lack of character in the past but under AVB they look revitalised, and then securing back-to-back-to-back wins. Milan currently sit atop of Serie A, with 11 points ahead of everyone else.

View attachment 434377

AC Milan have signed former Chelsea striker Didier Drogba from Turkish side Galatasaray.

The Turkish club confirmed on their website that Drogba had agreed an 18-month deal with the Italian league leaders.

The 36-year-old is on international duty for Ivory Coast at the Africa Cup of Nations.

"The opportunity to play for this great club was an offer that I could not turn down," explained Drogba.

His representatives said he will join up with the Italian side once the season is over.

Drogba is not the only signing AC Milan have made by signing, Alphonse Areola and Ron-Robert Zieler.

With the goalkeepers coming in they look as under studys to current AC goalkeepers, Victor Valdes and Christian Abbiati.

Today AC Milan announced that K?vin Constant will be joining LOSC Lille at the end of the season.

Milan manager Andr? Villas-Boas had this to say, "K?vin has been tremendous to this club, but we've both spoke and agreed that it would be best for him to move on. We've got a replacement in already who will also be joining us at the end of the season in Jonathan Silva, who will be joining us for Estudiantes."

Constant has been in fine form this season playing 11 games scoring 1 goal.

Nice start, I can never get Balotelli firing when I manage Milan though :( Hopefully you can! Can you check out my NUFC story?

Several AC Milan player's casted in to this season's TOTY

AVB will be a happy manager this season by guiding AC Milan to Serie A champion's, in unbelievable fashion.
AVB guided Milan to an undefeated season.

Chairman Silvio Berlusconi said this, "I'm delighted, it is a wonderful effort by the players, the staff. Everyone associated with this club should be proud of what we've managed to achieve this season."

Serie A top scorer Mario Balotelli, had this to say, "It's been a fantastic season. We are very happy to achieve such great things, I would like to take this time and say thank you to the boss, and my fellow team mates for such a great season, and we can look to next with confidence."

Andre Villas-Boas is said to be 'ecstatic with the effort shown by the players on the pitch' and 'cannot wait to challenge in Europe next season'.

After a couple of rough season's in England, AVB can certainly feel a lot better by winning his first trophy since leaving Porto in June 2011.

AC cannot feel relieved as they have a date with Juventus for TIM Cup on 24th May.

AC Milan stunned Juventus in a dramatic TIM Cup victory.

This was a victory in the mould of AC Milan's league win, built on resilience, discipline, defensive organisation and nerve at the crucial times.

As the frustration grew among the massed Milan support they wasted another opportunity after opportunity as El Shaawary pulled another presentable chance well wide from inside the area.

Balotelli made amends in the best possible manner though, when he headed Milan in front. He arrived unmarked onto Stephan El Shaawary's cross to head past Storari.

But it was the man for the big occasion who delivered again in the 49th minute. Balotelli won himself just enough space at the near post to meet Kaka's corner and put it powerfully past Storari.

Juventus had many chance's the best coming through Tevez, after a beautifully placed ball by Andrea Pirlo, Tevez couldn't fire past in-form Victor Valdes.

so guys? whats your thoughts? cant wait to show the next update some very interesting signings ;)

Serie A - AC Milan's ?200m Adidas agreement
View attachment 434102

AC Milan have signed a new 3-year agreement with Adidas, one that will reportedly see the club roughly net ?200m.

?Milan and Adidas have renewed their sponsorship agreement for a further 3 years, a deal that will take the companies? partnership past the 25-year barrier and set a new benchmark for sports marketing in Italy,? read a club statement.

?The new sponsorship deal further strengthens Milan's position as one of the world?s top clubs and confirms its desire to continue expanding globally.

?A key driving force will be the realisation of a joint project to open specialised stores, and the rolling out of a new strategy for the development and marketing of AC-brand merchandise.

?Thanks to this agreement, AC can now look forward to a bright future on the world stage with the backing of a strong brand that ensures continuity for the project.?

AC Milan?s previous deal with Adidas still had three years left to run on it.

il Diavolo will net around ?20m a campaign, but there are bonus clauses which could see that figure rise depending on sporting results.

i didn't i played (well watched) through each game, and my team was pretty much the same minus a few transfers, the key ones being Valdes on a free in the second season as i actually didn't start till the next season so had him in my first season, and Eder Alvarez Balanta! he is a huge talent and unbelievable! i'd recommend grabbing him
