2027/28 SEASON PREVIEW
1200px-Fulham_FC_%28shield%29.svg.png

Wow that's a big badge

We were pretty special last season after I got back from Italy. 19 games played and 39 points accrued is pretty good going and the only thing preventing us from playing in the Europa Conference League was a stunning final day performance by Brighton away at the champions. I'm gutted, the Europa Conference League thing is what we all dream of.

I got given a bit of a war chest as well as carte blanche to reshape the squad, while all the board want is mid table, lovely stuff. So we sold some players, a lot of players and brought in £250m. I didn't want to sell everyone went, I'm gutted to lose Hoey, but other than that they were all pretty bad
Outs 1.PNG

Outs 2.PNG

On a few of these, I was shocked to get as much as we did for Gibbs-White & Cantwell. Cantwell is getting on whilst Gibbs-White is nowhere near the player he was for us in the Championship. Meanwhile, I have no idea what Swansea saw in Connor de Vries to spend £30m on him, but I'll gladly take their money. Robert Jakubiak had spent last season at Marseille and they obviously liked him, I don't like him so it was nice to see him go. Pedrosa was at the point where we were unlikely to ever get as much for him in future while Lewis-Potter was shockingly under valued but had to make way for others. Daniel Hoey's release clause got met, f*ckn PSG

So who did we spend all this dosh on? Some decent lads

DRAB DERBY ENDS ROPEY MONTH FOR FULHAM
2_Brentford-v-Fulham-Sky-Bet-Championship.jpg

A drab 1-1 draw against Brentford ended a poor month for Fulham as they sit solidly in mid table

A first half goal from Omari Hanley was cancelled out in the second half by Brentford's Marcus Forss as Fulham ended March with just 1 victory from 6 games this month. This poor month continued Fulham's dismal league form as they have won just 2 of their last 12 league games

The month started more brightly in another London derby as the Whites left Stamford Bridge with a point following a pulsating 3-3 draw but this was followed by home defeats to Arsenal & Liverpool

Fulham's match appeared to be prolonging their poor form as they let a 2 goal lead slip in the final 6 minutes, with Villa's Dane Scarlett equalising in the 92nd minute, only Omari Hanley to ****** all three points for Fulham a minute later

4 first half goals from Manchester United however sunk Fulham at Old Trafford before today's drab fixture against Brentford. This form has left Fulham in 9th after 32 games
Table.PNG

The encouraging sign from the United game was Fulham's Barry Bello who came on at half time to make his first team appearance at just 15 years old. Fulham have high hopes for the youngster deemed to have the potential to be a generational talent

FULHAM END CAMPAIGN ON A HIGH
wolvesfulham4_20110831.jpg

FULHAM 2-0 WOLVES

Goals from wingers Omari Hanley & Diego Barboza saw Fulham end the season an a high note as they comfortably dispatched Wolves by two gaols to nil

Fulham struck either side of half time to beat lowly Wolves and secure a 7th placed finish, their highest since 2020/21

Fulham fans had extra room for optimism through the impressive performance of Barry Bello who made his first league start at the age of just 15

2028 EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP
1200px-Wales_national_football_team_logo.svg.png

We didn't even have to qualify for this and that's good because we've not been great under me thus far.

I have admittedly been giving out debuts left and right but we've drawn with the likes of Curacao & China so since then we've been focused on the tournament, no silly tactics. Results have improved considerably. 1-0 and 3-0 wins over Mexico and Scotland respectively in November 2027 were followed by a 2-0 victory over Sweden and a 3-0 victory over France! There's a lot of young talent here.

Our pre tournament friendlies saw us draw with Austria, smash the Faroes and lose narrowly to Germany. We can do this.

Gutting. We were once again the better team, more shots more corners and an xG of 2.23 to their 1.16, but their superior quality told in the end. They won the whole tournament continuing Wales' run of being knocked out by the eventual winners
