Does gibbs Remind You of Maicon ?

He is Great going Forward , Whips in Class Crosses and Has pace to burn but the defensive Side of His Game isn't Great. Btw England May be Playing a Poor Team But they are Keeping Possession Well and Creating a few Chances.
 
zamora has looked pretty comfortable.

yer he needs to work on his defencive side of the game but could be a decent replacement for cole one day.

done well to bring the game back from a loosing position. lampard should start on the bench for england in future games and gerrards best role is behind the striker as proven.
 
Zamora was pretty good, gave Kiraly 2 or 3 big saves to make, I think he should be given another chance after this, maybe starting.

What?! No.. maybe more like a 5 or 6 for me. We had a positive first half an hour, created a couple of chances, couldn't finish any of them, and petered out in the last 15 minutes of the second half, with Roo getting frustrated and not getting enough of the ball. Second half started how the first ended, Michael Dawson went to sleep, and we went 1-0 down, all be it the ball not actually crossing the line. Two moments of magic from Stevie G and we go up to 8? Don't think so.

about a 7. playing a different with some new faces. created some very good opportunities
 
stopped watching the england game when capello went back to 4-4-2; frustrates the **** out of me! he gave a different formation 45 minutes and because we didn't score; changed it.

But now because we scored 2 with the 4-4-2. capello will think it's the right formation....

pretty sure we went back to 4-2-3-1 when milner came on for rooney

To be fair Maicon is very good defensively.

Why? I watch 10/15 Inter games a season, add a few Brazil games onto that and I know Maicon is a very capable defender. Him being a wing back makes him no worse at defending :S
