Jamie Carragher - A Managers Story

Wow checked in on this from work, nice turnaround transferwise and a more than solid win against Elche. Good times!

Yeah I finally got some players in! Cavani had a shocker in his debut against Tolouse so hopefully that changes!

Fingers crossed for a big win against Toulouse at home.

Hopefully!! It should be a win, but it's not guaranteed!

Got some very experienced firepower up front in Benzema Cavani and Aguero!

That's what I'm looking for this season, some experience. I think between the three of them they will be a big help in all competitions!

I've noticed you don't buy a lot of regens, is this deliberate?

Yes and no. I do like regens, but I find that the story is better to follow with more recent players, can I get some feedback on this? I'm at that point now where there's no choice now anyway!

I like a bit of both, personally. I find it interesting to see some young players being brought through but at the same time I do like seeing where current players can end up! I only thought of it because your entire attack is really old, haha. Seems to be working for you but I would hate having an entire attack that has no re-sale value!

Yeah I get what you mean with the re sale value, the only reason I've done it this season is because the club can't actually afford a good young striker, hence why I was so gutted missing out on Dybala. Hopefully a good run in the Champions League will help balance the finances, but we have to qualify first! I turned down a tempting £55 million bid for De Paul which could have helped, but we're going to need him this season!

Who offered 55m for De Paul? That had to have been a tough one to turn down!

Chelski! It was but I think De Paul is actually one of the worlds best on this from what I've seen, he actually is mesmorising to watch!

Yeah his form has been incredible for you, I'd have made the same decision, you have to keep your best players to progress

The goals will not stop going in for us. In our last 3 league games we have scored 19 goals. It's a shame not to keep a clean sheet but we're dominating so far. De Paul and Cartabia are proving to be brilliant wingers, Benzema had an off game today, and when Cavani come on he did the business. With 3 well known strikers in the squad, you need to be on your game.
