True that but technically you are now a world class Football Manager Tactics creator.

Will a 4-4-1-1 formation work with either of the tactics?

I dont know to be honest,i made them to suit a central style of play,have a play about with them,they might work.

I'll try setting the play to narrow, and hopefully my wingers wont be starved of posession too much
 
Started using V2.1 tactic myself with Barcelona for fun :D.

Man this thing is beast.
 
My second season and ive retained the Championship with 7 games to spare.Still unbeaten in the League in nearly 2 seasons now.Time for a change though and a move to an average club to see how they work.

Here they are. They are not great results but I'm unbeaten in the Bundesliga. And my only loss is from real madrid 1-0.

Some great results there,are you using V2 or V2.1? 2.1 uses advanced playmakers instead of box to box.
 
JP, is it necessary to use Box to Box or Advanced Playmakers in CM positions together or can I vary with one of each? Asking because my current player types are better this way.

Also, have you an idea why Glen Johnson is playing at a higher tempo and Ignacio Camacho (used as Box to Box) closing down more often than asked constantly? I'm talking about V2 tactics. What can I do about it?

You choose,which ever is best for you but i prefer Advanced playmakers.

Dont worry about what the players are used to or not used to,they will get used to the style of play in time,stick with it.

JP I realise this wont work against all opposition, but I am playing as Arsenal and I am doing really well, but I keep playing teams like Stoke who score 3 lame goals, then I spend the rest of the match not being able to score. What do you do when this happens to you?
 
If you guys are struggling to score check your assistant manager's advice at half time. If he says you are having too many long range efforts then I found that using the touchline shout "work ball into box" yields results.

For Example I was playing Hull City and went down 1-0 after half time despite dominating the game. I saw that I had 11 long shots so I switched to "work ball into box" and told my team to try harder. Fulltime result 5-1 to me.

Ah great, yet simple advice :) Will give this a try. I have Cesc Fabregas and Simon Vukcevic as my MC's and they usually smash their shots wide

Pitch is the most narrow one but I am losing home and away.

RB Rafinha
CB Vermaelen
CB Gallas
DMC Veloso/Song
MC Vukcevic
MC Fabregas
AMC Arshavin
SC (Poacher) Eduardo/Van Persie
SC Bendtner/Milevski

League Table
Played 14 - Won 8 - Drawn 2 - Lost 4 - For 30 - Against 19. (I know this may seem ok? but Liverpool and Spurs are on 36 points)

Stoke - Arsenal 0-3 Lose
Portsmouth - Arsenal 2-2 Draw
West Hame - Arsenal 1-1 Draw
Arsenal - Villa 0-3 Lose

I know I have only shown the really bad results, but these teams I should be beating :(

All the goals I concede are from crosses, crazy through balls on the break and those stupid frank lampard 50 yard shots :(

Well first thing ill say is its only 14 games and you have bought a few new players ,one of the is Brazilian so a bedding in period will be needed. 2nd the tactic relies heavily on pace from the forwards and i don't think your strikers are the quickest. Id say either give it time or change tactics,maybe these aren't for Arsenal,i don't know. The two 3-0 defeats are very surprising.Maybe teamtalks aren't what they should be,when starting a game at a big club the players will have zero respect for you.
 
What you said about the new players is a fair point. Weirdly The first 8 or so games I was doing really well, then things seem to have gone a bit **** up :(

Do you think your V1 would be suitable for my team?

The plan is to carry on with V2 as a few of these new players cant speak English just yet so that will cause me problems.
