As you can see, pretty **** good. After 10 games im top of the league with fecking Swansea. Im using your v3 tactic on 12.1 patch, havent changed anything apart from tweaking corners a bit. Looks like im gonna be in CL next season. :) Thanks man.

Yeah, **** scousers. ;) I gave away two penalities in that game. Next season im buying better defenders. :)
 
mate it is absolutely brill. Tryed it with Dorchester (Blue Square South) + Peterhead (Scottish Third) works with lesser teams.

Using this tactic with Benfica. Second in the league (point behind Porto), won about 16 games in a row but Porto doesn't seem to slip up either. Currently in the knockout stages of the CL after coming 2nd in the group of death. Had Chelsea, Dortmund and Olympiakos. Beat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge (lost at home), beat Dortmund at home (lost away) and beat Olympiakos both ties. The only downturn is I have Barcelona in round 16..apart from that I'm on my way to a treble (just got to beat Porto when we meet). Cardoza has scored 28 in 22 games (something like that). Bought Eduardo Vargas for £2mil scored 20 goals in 32 games.Amazing tactic. Thanks man.
 
That's good. But if you play not a big team you can lose all. Now i'm playing Evian Thonon Gaillard and i ending a first season on 17th place (3 points advantage). But i'm sure - i haven't a key players to win more games (bad striker and wingers). When i was playing Inter i win all and Forlan was great! I made 5:0, 4:0 in every single game, so **** - that's so good! Good job!

Yeah well as mentioned, this is an attacking tactic, not much of a counter-attacking-giant-killer tactic, thus it will be less effective for weaker teams.

And yes the front 3 are crucial. As long as you have someone who's decent on those positions, you should do well with the tactic.

I loaned Sturridge on Leeds. I dominated Championship division.

Try the v2. The new version should be more similar to the v2 rather than the v3.

I haven't really got much time lately since it's the holidays.

Hopefully you guys are too. Having fun instead of playing FM. lol



I will try to finish the tactic ASAP. But I can't promise when.

hey guys, i think i've found out something that will reflect Barca's defend style nowadays, pressing....
it's like we have to closing down all of their players to always (OI), although i've found it will risk your defend, but that is the quickest way to retain our possesion. i've tried it on my last game againts everton, i got 29 shoot while they only got 5.
but, it's not too recommended againts team that has so many quick players. :D

Ive got a back 5 of Reina, Johnson,Enrique, Coates and Agger, Lucas in front of them then Gerrard and Ganso in front of him. Who would you sign with that money for the inside forwards, Ive got Suarez on the right at the moment!

Gerrard MCL Ganso MCR, Downing AMR Willian AML should be fine

Gerrard as MCL and Ganso as MCR
Suarez as AML, Downing as AMR

Interesting... On default the player are already on high closing down.

But OI to close down everyone spesifically seems interesting.
 
Hey, im playing as Arsenal, im in March in my first season, Im currently 1st ( 2 points ahead of Chelsea )

starting 11 are:

Hulk - AF
Gotze - IF ( Left side)
RVP - IF ( Right side )
Arteta - DLP
Ramsey - AP
Santos - LB
Sangna - RB
Djourou - LCB
Vermaelen - RCB

Your tactic is very good most of the time, but there is the odd game where it doesnt work so well for me, for example I lost 3-1 to spurs with this starting 11. Also, The IF's don't cut inside at all tbh, do they need the 'cut inside' PPM? ( I was wondering about PPM's in general for this tactic actually ) Lastly, Ive got chamberlain and miyaichi coming through soon, what should I do with them?

Hi koflok. I have used your tactic from the FM11 version with a few tweaks, and had some great results with Radcliffe Borough on FM12. Unbeaten in the league 2 seasons, and are now in the Blue Square Bet. Also manage to come to the 4th round in the FA cup in the second season, where I was beaten by Blackburn 4-0 who later won the cup. So they must have learn something when they met us:P, because we dominated the game against them. I only use 1 winger since I hadn't good enough players on both sides, and put the other up front with great result. The tweak who has worked is that you put your 2 defensive midfielders and your centre backs on defensive mentality. 95% of the goals against has come from set pieces and from the wingers, but that I can live with when I got so offensive fullbacks. So thank you so much for you tactic :wub:.

koflok, i was wondering, what will you do to make your offside trap work well?
and i got thiago, hamsik, pedro, muniain and douglas costa where should i put them in your formation?
