What tweaks do you recommend for southend? Got promoted but second season struggling a bit with this tac and concede on like half of the corners taken against me. Obviously the defensive line i was thinking because my centrebacks arent the quickest..

If there's a spare man who's on 'attack' on defending corners, try making him to go back.
And yeah you should make the d-line a little deeper
and PROBABLY change the mentality to standard which to some user has been highly effective

Ive been using this tactic and Messi was on the other planet he scored 53 goals and 22 assists in 35 games and the season is not done yet im still in March

Messi scored 48 goals by January for me, think it was like 36 league goals in 14 games.

Messi is beast. He's crazy on striker role.
Hulk scored 80ish goals for me though. His physical nature makes him very unstoppable during dribbling through defences.

the **** means RFD? sorry, don't know english abreviations mates

I just wanna say thank you for a great tactic Koflok :D I'm unbeaten in the Premier League with my Arsenal. I'm now in the semi-final of the CL, facing Barcelona - keep my fingers crossed :)
Anw, how did you get Hulk to score that much goals in a season ??? How do u usually choose your starting 11 ? Do u play the same starting XI for the whole season or only keeping key players for every matches ? I usually have 2 players for each position and rotate them every matches. Give me some tips m8, i want my player to score 50+ goals/season too :D

I generally don't rotate much. Hulk is always up front, backline is almost always the same. I tried different combinations of MCs and AML until halfway through the season but from there on I have a preferred starting 11.

I do rotate though when I have an important next match or the other player hasn't been in a while and have very high condition.
Hulk is almost always playing because I wanted to see his full exploit. I do sub him for Walcott usually during 60+ minutes mark since his pace destroys tired defense.

Just start your striker every game and he's most likely to pass that 50 goals mark.
However players with 'comes deep to get ball' and with lower speed / dribbling will usually assist more for the wingers.

Someone know why I have only 1% to knwoledge of formation? I play this tactic for first seson. I can't find explain of this

I recently started a season as Wigan and had a great season in which I won all the matches which included a 3-1 victory over Dortmund. My squad isn't half bad. I know it was only my first league match and it was man city away but 9-1 seems like a crazy defeat. I was playing
Team was set up like this
GK Al Habsi
DR Steven Whittaker
DC Ryan Bennett
DC Gary Caldwell
DL Lee Wallace
DMC Diame
DLP McArthur
AP McCarthy
AMR Moses
AML Rodallega
ST Hooper
Did very little throughout
They scored the own goal. Any recommendations?
I will let you know how I get on 10 games through.

Good stuff man thanks for the info.
Yeah I've been thinking and BETA 2 might me a better version for the new patch due to 2 reasons

1. Fullback is on attacking. I like it better but the last patch screws us up because of the poor marking of the fullback. The new patch has fixed 'fullback positioning' as far as I remember
2. Corners are not the near post one. I used my usual far post which is less 'buggy' last time around but still overall effective.

SO yeah I would recommend everyone to use BETA2 for now, instead of the new one

Please try these following tweaks. You don't have to apply all of them but it would be good to see which ones gives good effect for now
1. D-line to normal instead of push up
2. RFD of MCL to mixed instead of rarely
3. Mentality to standard instead of attacking

I will try to do a quick update for the new patch.

Koflok in the beta 2 tactic the full backs are on automatic should I set them to full back attack

I found changing a bit of the tac into more d-line pushing up, lower tempo, wider play and alot more pressing from DL/DR MC/MC and alot of LONG balls forward work quite nice also. Maybe a idea for switching around so the PC won't get used to the "main" tactic. Or a good one for away games, with ur Defenders just playing long balls behind their defence, 2 wingers +1striker with Awesome speed would destroy any team i'd say and it would be even better on away games cus u wont need possession :P

This tactic does rely quite alot on speed, altho i'd say it's just bad luck for you :). I once lost 5-1 (could be 6 or 7 -1) to real madrid also with ajax(better team then wigan)

No recommendations. Don't exactly what went wrong so I have no clue.
Well it was bad luck since you had an away game v City on the 1st match which the player hasn't been 100% gelled with the tactic.

No. By automatic it's already set on attack.

Interesting. I would try that.
I usually hate seeing my DC pumping ball upwards htough.

Cheers

Interesting.

I have been receiving a lot of reports of user trying out 'standard' instead of attacking and actually get better reslts.
I might have to try it too.. it might be a hidden setting I've been missing or something :D

And anyhow which version of tactic are you using?
Ori? BETA2? or v3?
In v3 the d-line is already at normal on default.

Just been playing on original. If the tactic is working the same on the new patch then I'll update to that tonight.

Gomez with 35 in 17 for me now, start of November. Never had a striker score so much in any FM. Lost count of how many hattricks he's scored.

i am using wigan...
i am quite happy with the 1st season's results..
but 2nd season i tried sucks -.-
only one win in 10 games... only a 2-1 win over birmingham -.-

koflok.. i realize that if ur AMR and AML is pulled into two AMC then it will be perfect~~
try out everyone... give dis comment a like~

First season with Tromso the tactic was amazing, second season on new patch it's not very good at all.. what's happening?

Should I do a v4?

ANy more reports on the new patch?

So far it seems like it doesn't do good.

Interestingly, with my Newcastle team, I've finished 3rd for the last two seasons using this tactic. I have had the least defeats, and conceded the least in the league with just 27 conceded. One point, however, is that the only source of goals are from my main striker. First season, paloschi got 33 in 36, then the next season, signed benzema in january and he got over a goal a game. Is there any way to remedy this lack of goals from around the team?

I had great success with v3 winning everything. Not undefeated but that's probably because I'm rotating in a lot of young wonderkids to get them to evolve faster. My team is a bit too strong almost. The only signings I'm doing this season is götze (so he doesn't go to man untd or chelsea) and some promising u18s. Did the same last year.

Started off ok, but suddenly 'goals galore' has stopped me scoring in my last 4 games? Advice

After installing patch 12.1 the v3 tactic doesn't work as great as before. I've not played many matches - 5 or 6 - but the general results are below the average of before installing the patch. The main problem seems to be in scoring - I've not created more than 3 CCC in the last games. The wingers are shooting on the side netting a lot more, for what I can see... but I still have to try it some more.
