"I recommend starting off with the Counter High or Control High tactic as a default. Watch the game, and if the opposition's defence is sitting deep then switch to the Counter High or Control High tactic as suits."
Hey buddy, One of them must be deep, right? If the opposition is sitting deep should we use Counter deep or Control deep or is it the other way around?
Which tactic would u go for if u would use only instant result?
Thanks for these, a lot to learn from. My current team is probably too attack minded to fit into the formations though.
Looks nice! But how do you see how deep their line is under a game?
can we see how deep their line is without watch full match ? im using key highlights only so i cant rly understund .
can you give some tips on how to observe the d-line? i mean im a veteran FM player, but the ME is so ''fidgety'' it's difficult to observe any regular patterns when it comes to the d-line, it seems all teams push up to the halfway line and go back immediately to their penalty area when i pass through the striker/winger line on the transition. i watch the match on comprehensive too
It's all visual. A good way is to observe the striker. If he has no space and is practically man marked then you need to use one of the 'high' tactics to get him into areas he can operate in. If the defence is sitting off him way too much, then you can see how the 'deep' tactic works.
You should be able to tell in 2D or 3D if the striker is or isn't getting space to operate in.
Ah darn, I was afraid it would end being a completely different formation. Sadly I cannot use this. Was enjoying the old one for having 2 strikers and DM's. I guess I will wait for the next patch and hope for something to come up.
