A truely disappointing start to the campaign. Petty wins over small teams and loses to underdogs

"Harewood All 4 Carlisle Win"

Marlon Harewood was the key figure in Leeds dominate win over Carlise today at Brunton Park.

He opened the scoring on the 35th minute and went on to score 4 in total. Also scoring for Leeds was Snodgrass and Stoor.

Richard Hughes from Portsmouth on a free.
Due to Portsmouth trying to reduce their wage budget Hughes was available for £0.
The Scottish midfielder has currently represented his country 5 times.

Mixed fortunes for August. Two loses. One to Southend, which we performed terribly and a second to Bolton, which is understandlable but still upsetting.

August also led to the departure of:
Mike Grella - Barnsley
Casper Ankergren - West Brom
Ben Parker - MK Dons.

Cardiff's Tony Capaldi was about to sing for Leeds but failed to pass his medical. Aidan White has been promoted to the first team from the Under 18's untill January.

Leeds are currently standing 3rd in League One, below Colchester and Millwall.

Leeds players enjoyed some accolades this month:
Marlon Harewood - 2nd in Player Of The Month and 1st in Goal Of The Month
Robert Snodgrass - Young Player Of The Month

Damien Plessis is still holding the DMC place as Richard Hughes is regaining match fitness via the Reserve team. He is currently performing very well and loan plans and a possible permanent transfer are being considered by Daniel Bowen. Nothing will happen until next season unless a unrefusable offer comes along.
