New manager Jake Stratton takes charge at the Walkers Stadium after promotion to the Championship from League one, His aim is to get Leicester City Football Club back to the Premier League as soon as possible.

July 2009

Start of season expectations:
With no transfer budget available, i decided to agree with the board with a mid-table finish and play it safe, play offs is where i expect us to finish.

Squad Analysis:
According to assistant manager Craig Shakesphere defender Aleksander Tunchev is my star player. I couldnt agree more, soild centre back he will be key to our sucess this season. Other star players include French foward Yann Kermorgant and midfielder Ritchie Wellens. Ive decided to play a 4-1-2-1-2 formation with no wingers, playing through the middle.

Transfers:
Max Gradel 200k (out, Notts County) - Good young winger but doesnt suit my formation.
Llyod Dyer 400k (out, Middlesbrough) - Again doesnt suit my formation, get a bit of money to spend on new players.
Levi Porter 18k (out, Exeter) - In my reserve squad, the board accepted the offer.

Pre-season:
[H] Leicester City 1-0 Leicester City Reserves
[A]
Leicester City 0-2 Clyde
[A]
Leicester City 4-0 East Fife
[A] Leicester City 1-1 MK Dons
[A] Leicester City 2-0 Darlington
[A] Leicester City 5-2 Brighton
[H] Leicester City 5-1 GH Academy
[A]
Leicester City 6-0 Hinckley

Good luck pal, Leicester have a decent team, you should do well with them. :)

Good luck mate, I'm also playing as Leicester at the moment and at around January the Chairman wanted to sell the club and I was taken over by a consortium and got £4m to spend.

Hope you're as lucky as me. ^^)

August 2009 - Season Begins

Transfers:
Nicolas Savinaud (In, Vannes OC, 70K) - 33 year old midfielder to play in front of defence in diamond, can also play at right back.
Mickael Fabre (In, Clermont Foot 63, 80K) - Good goalkeeper to replace Chris Weale as number 1.
Eddy Viator (In, Amiens SC Football, 26K) - Brought in to boost up a weak left back area.
Henri Camara (In, Free) - 32 year old striker add some competition up front.
Jerry Vandem (In, Loan, LOSC Lille Metropole) - Young right back, again to boost up back 4.
Ross Forbes (In, Loan, Motherwell) - Another Young player back up for centre defensive midfield or attacking midfield.

Thought ive done quite well with such a tight budget, hopefully they can do the job.

Man of the match: W.Brown 7.5

Kermorgant's equaliser was not enough to stop Leicester lose two games in a row.

November 2009 Preview

Gonna skip October's review cause im lazy all you need to know is Jack Hobbs got my player of the month and he also got young player of the month.

Fixtures (Prediction):
[H] West Brom (3-1 W)

[H] Plymouth (1-0 W)
[A] Scunthorpe (1-1 D)

Only 3 matches this month, a good one at home against the Baggies and another tough home game against 7th placed Plymouth, and Scunthorpe away is not easy either with the likes of Gary Hooper playing for them.

Transfer News:
Jack Wilshere (Loan, rejected) - Wanted an extra boost in midfield especially the attacking areas, Jack is the perfect player for that, but he rejected the chance to play for the Foxes.
Victor Anichebe (Loan, rejected) - Good striker, wanted him in because the failure of Henri Camara, Henri has been playing awful since he joined club, Victor would of come in and done well but rejected like Jack.

Injury update:
Aleksander Tunchev (DC) - Picked up a groin strain in the 3-1 at QPR, expecting him to be on light training in about 11 days.
Mickael Fabre (GK) - Always a blow to lose your number 1 keeper, with goals leaking in already, we might struggle not to mention a key centre back out too. A chest injury 2-3 weeks he will be fit again.
Eddy Viator (DL) - Another blow, and another defender, but im confident Bruno can do a good job at LB in replacement, Eddy wont be in action in about 4 weeks with broken ribs.

November 2009

Results:

West Brom hold on to point at The Walkers Stadium

Leicester 1-1 West Brom
J.Morrison (62)
R.Wellens (64)
Man of the match: R.Wellens 7.5

So unlucky not to grab 3 points in this game, hit the woodwork 4 times, twice in a few seconds. A curling shot from Wellens hit the post then hit the keeper then again hit the post and rolled across the line before West Brom cleared. Very unlucky result.

Dramatic finish as Leicester win

Leicester 4-2 Plymouth
R.Wellens (9)
J.Mackie (25)
P.Gallagher (77, 90+4)
G.Sawyer (88)
D.Campbell (90)
Man of the match: P.Gallagher 8.6

Good game, fully derserved but i am very worried about my leaky defence.

All Square at Glanford Park

Scunthorpe 1-1 Leicester
G.Hooper (8)
Y.Kermorgant (16)
Man of the match: G.Hooper 7.5

Two even sides and a draw was right result, through Scunthorpe had two penalty shouts.
