So Leicester managed to get into to the top 4 a great acheviment by manager Jake Stratton. A season to remember for the Leicester fans, winning the League Cup too.

Sorry for another poor update but for next season, gonna put loads of effort in :).

Season 2014/15

Jake Stratton has now been at the club for 5 years since taking over he has an amazing impact, gaining promotion the the Premier League seemed a fantasic acheivment. But it was just the start, reaching the FA Cup final and qualifying for Euro Cup, Leicester fans we're in dream land. Some worried they would suffer second season sydrome going back down but they had a steady year reaching 9th in the table, but each year the squad gets stronger they put up a title challenge for half of the season in 2013, slowly fading away. But they managed to keep in the top 4 and that means the big time, Champions League but first they willl have to get through the qualifying round. A League Cup victory put the gloss on their fantasic season, their first since lifting the Championship title.

Leicester swoop for Shawcross:
The Foxes confirm the signing of centre-back Ryan Shawcross from relegated Stoke City for a fee of around £6.5M, Shawcross admitted it was hard to leave Stoke during his long spell at the club but didnt fancy playing Championship football this season.

Lee Cattermole signs for Foxes:
Leicester have signed Sunderland midfielder Lee Cattermole on a 4 year deal for a fee of £15.75M, quite high price tag but Stratton is confident he will do well for the club.

Brazilian Striker Diogo joins Leicester:
He is expected to partner other Brazillian striker Neymar upfront this season, Diogo joined Leicester from Olympiakos for a fee around £12M.

Leicester finally signs Michael Bradley:
The USA international signs from German side Gladbach for around £12M, after weeks of trying to sort the deal out between the two managers Michael Bradley added he was glad to sign for Leicester and cannot wait to start playing.

Next update: Tomorrow.

Hinckley 0-5 Leicester - De Jong x2, Neymar, Shawcross x2
Hibernian 1-3 Leicester - Diogo, Fernandez, Neymar
Leicester 1-1 Real Madrid - Diogo

After a good pre-season for the Foxes we're confident going into the first game of the season against Hull City, manager Jake Stratton gave debuts to all summer signings with Bradley playing infront of defence.

Premier League
Hull City 1-1 Leicester
N.Barazite (17)
Neymar (84)

Man of the match: N.Barazite 7.7

Leicester started their campaign with a draw away to Hull, the hosts took the lead through a well worked goal Barazite with the finishing touch. Leicester dominated most of the game and will be dissapointed to come away with nothing but Neymar 6 minutes from time finished across goal after good work by Cattermole.

Leicester begins their Champions League campaign against tough opponents At. Madrid, Leicester will be looking to build a strong lead to take into the second leg. Stratton make no changes to the side that drew against Hull at the weekend.

Champions League best placed play-off leg 1
Leicester 2-2 At.Madrid
S.Aguero (27)' J.Reyes (64)
Neymar (45+1)' L.Cattermole (86)

Man of the match: J.Reyes 7.8

At. Madrid gained the upper hand in the first leg of the Champions League play-off and it will take something very special from Leicester to go through to the next round. Sergio Aguero scored a curling a shot from the edge of the area to give Madrid the lead, but Neymar scored after Barker's deflected shot fell to the Brazillians feet. The Spainish side regained the lead when Reyes scored a 25 yard drive, but Lee Cattermole gave Leicester hope for the next leg after a brilliant ball from Bradley.

Leicester make one change from the side that played mid-week, Bas De Jong coming in the injured Neymar. The Foxes will hope to get a early win to get them off the mark.

Premier League
Leicester 2-1 Liverpool
P.Barker (12)' J.Spence (71)
A.Aquilani (42)

Man of the match: A.Aquilani 8.0

Leicester took 3 points against a strong looking Liverpool, it took 12 minutes to break the deadlock when Peter Barker scored a brilliant 25 yard curler. Aquilani grabbed a deserved equaliser after a some good work by Fernando Torres, but Jordan Spence headed in the winning goal from a Michael Johnson corner. Liverpool probably did deserve the win but credit to Leicester.

Neymar returns to the bench after Peter Barker is ruled out by injury Michael Johnson replaces him as Leicester need to produce something special to get through to the next round.

Champions League best placed play-off leg 2
At.Madrid (4) 2-0 (2) Leicester
B.Sahar (32)' Lucas (42)

Man of the match: Lucas 7.8

Leicester we're on the wrong end of the bombardment as they endured a poor night in Spain, and ended their Champions League hopes. Ben Sahar tapped in from close range after Green could only parry Aguero's shot, 10 minutes later Lucas scored a stunning 30 yard strike to put the game to bed.

Leicester made hard work over newly promoted Birmingham it was the away side that took the shock lead after just 47 seconds, when Michael Johnson was robbed off the ball and O'Connor slotting the ball home. Lee Cattermole equalised for the home side after a good cut back by Diogo, a fairly even game until Birmingham's Pearce got sent off for a second bookable offence. Soon after Niki Zimling missed from the spot after De Jong won a penalty, but subtistute Bas De Jong scored a controversial goal late on after he appeared to be offside from a ball from Martinez.
