Good story mate. Although personally a united man, and glad to see them at the top ;) Good progress from Stoke City in your first season to Liverpool in your fourth :) Good job. I notice Newcastles rise back up to the top four. Have they got any big name players now?

Okay lads, a little run down.
I had to start again from the match against Chelsea because my save went corrupt. So my results from then on..

The Liverpool Echo 16th August 2013
"Game on!"

Tomorrow's game against Arsenal is set to be a thrilling opening game to the 2013/14 season. When Liverpool boss Lewis Edwards was asked, "Do you have anything to say about tomorrow's match?", he replied with a smile, "Let battle commence!".
Since joining Liverpool in early April last year, Edwards has transformed Liverpool considerably. Their melt down under the management of Rafa Benitez was halted by Edwards. Slowly, Liverpool started to see changes, and one of Edwards' first games in charge for them was a Europa League final win over AC Milan. Since then, he has won another Europa League, came second in the Premier League, and most recently, won the Community Shield.

ARSENAL 0-0 LIVERPOOL
The Emirates Stadium, 12:45 kick off
Referee: Mark Parks
Attendance: 60361
Man of the Match: Martin Olsson, 7.30

This match may have been over-hyped a little too much because in the end, nothing came out of it.
"We are a little dissapointed with the result today," said Arsenal boss Ronald Koeman, "We should have got at least a goal but hey, there isn't anything we can do about it now." Liverpool boss Lewis Edwards said, It was a decent result. I did go into the match with the intention with snatching a win, but a point is better than nothing."
Liverpool's next game will be against Chelsea, where they will be hoping for a win.

Liverpool 0-0 Chelsea
Anfield, 19:45 Kick Off
Referee: Lee Probert
Attendance: 45362
Man of the Match: Petr Cech, 8.30

Another 0-0 draw for Liverpool, but a slightly better match than last game against Arsenal.
Both teams were very much in the balance, but a solid Liverpool defense and brick wall goalkeeping by Petr Cech insured that no goals were let in.
(Liverpool boss Lewis Edwards)
"We had the chances again, but we couldn't finish them. Their goalkeeper was very strong tonight, and nothing was goin past him.
I can understand that our first 3 competitive games have been against Man United, Arsenal and Chelsea, but we need to do better. We've got Fulham next game. After last season, we know they can cause an upset, so we can't afford an ounce of complacencey. If we do win, that will be a good start heading into the match against Real Madrid the following match."
Liverpool have also been rocked by the injury of Glen Johnson, who during the match, tore his hamstring and will be out for a minimum of 2 months.
"He's a cracking player and he'll be missed. But I think that Jamie Carragher can provide some decent back up for him."

FULHAM 1-2 LIVERPOOL (Kuyt 2)
Craven Cottage, 17:30 Kick off
Referee: Martin Atkinson
Attendance: 23432 (It's a pallindrome!)
Man of the Match: Dirk Kuyt, 8.50

A significant match today on Liverpool's view. It was their first league win of the season, first league goal of the season, first goal conceded of the season, and Dirk Kuy'ts first goal was his 50th in a Liverpool shirt.
(Lewis Edwards)
"It was a decent result for us yesterday. Now all concentration is on the Real Madrid game on Friday."
Dirk Kuyt got the man of the match after a fantastic performance. However Pepe Reina's performance was also a note worth taking of.

Ronald Koeman at Arsenal??? did Wenger retire?? good luck mate.

Yeah he retired. Koeman in no where near as good.

Btw I'm closing this thread. Dosen't seem that a lot of people are following. I will porbably update it in my sig so if you do happen to be following watch out for my sig

Don't worry if people aren't always commenting, they still look how you are doing. A better layout and more features might help too.

Yeah that's another reason. I enjoy the layout but I know people prefer layouts in months rather than per match, so if I changed it now I'd be in a right mess
