APRIL REVIEW
Well I just posted my April review but then for some reeason my internet went down and it didn't submit it, so I can't be arsed to write it all out again so I'm just gonna post screenies

Really enjoying your story mate!! havn't seen a story in this depth of detail before :) Ill keep following

As there's not many matches left my story is gonna be match reports instead of monthly reviews.

LIVERPOOL 1-1 PORTO (KUYT) (EUROPA LEAGUE SEMI FINAL 2ND LEG)

Well Liverpool won their match away last time against these 3-1, so all they had to do was defend their lead, and they did! A 4-2 aggregate win putting them through to the Europa League Final with Benifica!
Rafael Sobis scored the first goal where he smashed in a shot from 35 yards out! You could see it on Lewis Edward's face that he was worried. However when Dirk Kuyt equalised minutes later, a big sigh of relief happened. Edwards said,
"I'm very delighted that we have got to the final. it's a fantastic achievment, now we need to win it!
I went for the defensive approach in this match even though I was at home. I knew they'd put me under heavy pressure."

LIVERPOOL 0-1 BLACKBURN
Last week when I said that the Tottenham result was the season defining result, no it wasn't, this was. Absolutely terrible. Even if I do win my two games in hand, Man Utd only have to win one more and the title is theirs. ****!
And guess what? It was Chucho frickin Benitez again!!!!!

For the rest of this season I'm gonna do match reports instead of monthly reviews :)

Chelsea 2-1 Liverpool (Welliton)

The only positive to take out of this was Welliton's goal, as he ended his goal drought, but other than that, we were poor all over the place, didn't win our battles or headers, didn't get stuck in but at times we got too stuck in, didn't put them under any pressure whatsoever. A bit dissapointed that I've lost three on the bounce, but that's the way football is I guess.

LIVERPOOL 'HAMMER' IN A 1-0 WIN (TORRES)

Well, I didn't hammer them, just wanted to use that phrase :P, but on all seriousness I'm pleased to finally get a win!
The pressure for the title is on now, look at the league table!

Ouch!! It looks like you're out of the running: Even if Man Utd lose all their games and you win all yours then the goal diference will put them 1st.

COMING SOON!!!!!!!!!!

The Europa League final between Liverpool and Benifica will be steamed LIVE on Fm-base, probably sometime tonight.
The post will be put up, and for every notable event in the match, I will edit that post. SO MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT MISS IT!!!!!!!

0 mins: Welcome to the ESPRIT Arena, where Portugese giants Benfica take on last years Europa League winners Liverpool. And there's the kick off, we're underway!

11 mins: Corner drifted in by Kuyt.... well held by Benfica keeper Pantillimon.

23 mins: Welliton has his back to goal, oohh lovely play as he turns the hopeless Sidnei, and shoots... save by Pantillimon, but Torres is there for the rebound... GOAL!!! GOAL!!! GOAL!!!! Fernando Torres scores for Liverpool! Welliton did so well, but it seems like he can never score one on one, but not to worry, Torres is always there!

42 mins: Freddy Adu is dribbling with the ball, passes out right to Vladmir Weiss, Weiss crosses the ball... but Reina rises and catches the ball.

HALF TIME: It's been a boring game in my opinion, not alot has gone on, hopefully the second half will be better.

45 mins: We're back underway here.

49 mins: Zerzhakov has got the ball at his feet just outside the 18 yard box, and shoots... it's gone well over.

54 mins: Fernando Torres does fantastically well to intercept the pass, and passes to Welliton, who runs with the ball before passing it out to Dirk Kuyt on the right, Kuyt crosses.... it'***** the crossbar! He certaintly didn't mean to do that!

60 mins: Daniel Pacheco is coming on for Welliton.

65 mins: Freddy Adu with the ball, threads it through to Kleber! Kleber's through on goal! He shoots! And Jose Manuel Reina does fantastically to tip it round the post! Kleber looks disgusted with himself.
Corner is taken... headed away by Kyrgiakos.

73 mins: Liverpool make two substitions, Kyrgiakos off for Jamie Carragher, and Benayoun on for Ryan Babel.

80 mins: Weiss passes to Kleber, who is unmarked. He runs at Carragher, and shoots... it's gone over. Goal kick.

82 mins: Benfica are putting lots of pressure on Liverpool

87 mins: Weiss is dribbling with the ball, while Kleber is onside and free in the box! Weiss is about to cross, FOUL! Martin Olsson trips up Vladmir Weiss! Free kick put in the box... but Reina punches it out.

FULL TIME: Liverpool have won the Europa League for the second season in a row!!!! The Liverpool fans are on the pitch!!!!!!!!

P.S I was doing it live, but my internet was being a *****!

I reckon you will win 2-1. Kleber scores first, Torres equalises and then Wellington scores the winner. P.S. Don't you have a ageing squad and where is Gerrard?

Gerrard was injured, and unfortuantely I don't have a lot of funds to improve my old squad

Good stuff Lewis. Nice story too. (H)

Ahh cheers Chris :D

LIVERPOOL 2-2 THE MANCS (TORRES 2)

This was my second last game of the season, but drawing it has ensured that I cannot come top. It was a great performance by Fernando Torres. We came back from behind twice. I'm not too dissapointed with the draw, the odds were against us, and the pre-match prediction was against us too.
The minimum position we can come is 3rd, but even if Chelsea do slip up 1-0, then I'll have to win against Ipswich 22-0. C'mon we can do it <)

LIVERPOOL 3-0 IPSWICH (WELLITON, PACHECO, STANISLAS)

The final game of the season, and I'm happy with it. :) Season review coming up in a minute.

LIVERPOOL 2012/13 SEASON REVIEW

COMPETITIONS:
English Premier Division: 3rd (Media expectation of 9th) :D
FA Cup: 5th Round (Expectation of 6th Round) :S
League Cup: Third Round (No Expectations set) :(
Europa League: Winners (Quarter Final Expectation) (A)
European Super Cup: L 3-1 (No Expectation set) :'(

PLAYER OF THE SEASON:
Jose Manuel Reina, achieving a final average rating of 7.24.

Pepe_Reina.jpg

MATCH OF THE SEASON:
Liverpool 2-0 Man Utd. Always nice to get a win over Man Utd whatever team you are :D

GOAL OF THE SEASON:
Sotrios Kyrgiakos with his beautiful free-kick. :)

GOOD POINTS:
Well I'm happy with my final league position, as I didn't even expect to come in the top 4 myself, so it was a brilliant achievment. Also, going unbeaten against Man Utd and Arsenal in the league this season. And how can I not say about winning the Europa League?

BAD POINTS:
Well I'm very dissapointed about how I slipped up in the league. I was on course for winning in, but it always happens to me- my team always do worse towards the end of the season.
Also, my strikers didn't really score much and were very inconsistent. It's really starting to **** me off how Welliton has a finishing stat of 18 and hits all his shots at the keeper, yet Stanislas who has a finishing of 13 gets it in all the time!:@

PLAYERS PICKED IN PREMIER DIVISION TEAM OF THE YEAR:
Pepe Reina in goal, and Torres as a sub.

When you look at the table, it is worth taking note of Notts County's epic fail in the league.
