Duje Cop is on loan at Cagliari and has 4mil euro future fee he will join them on summer,also he shoud get small CA/PA upgrade
Marcelo Brozovic has 8mil future fee
Wilson Eduardo has left and he is now on loan at Den Haag

In short I boosted the stuff that makes him unpredictable (flair, dribbling et al) but kept his mentals and finishing quite low because he's still inconsistent and cannot finish to save his life. Gayle I didn't do too much with (http://i.gyazo.com/9a2b4f4199c9b7208541048e819df214.png), I simply boosted his penalty taking and his flair a bit. I left Punch the same because I think he's rated about right at the mo.

The other major changes I made to Palace's squad were:

Think those are the only major ones I changed, I had a chat with the Palace researcher and we were thrashing out some youth changes, but they're not very big changes.

This is all biased and ridiculous, so many crazy upgrades giving players 4-5 extra points in some areas.

Heh. I actually came up with these in conjunction with the actual Palace researcher because he's been wanting to make changes like this but initially wasn't able to justify it.

I'm very wary of overrating Palace players on FM. Of those upgrades, only Bolasie and Jedinak got big boosts, and Bolasie is horribly rated in the original game (again, by the Palace researcher's admission). Jedinak is a point of contention, but put it this way: he was originally meant to have 20 tackling in game along with a whole raft of upgrades, but they were added too late to be put in. ****, I'd know, I was there when the researcher was submitting the database.

Of the rest of them, I'm certain Chamakh is fair considering how incredibly important he is and how well he's played. Fryers and Hangeland both deserved downgrades. My upgrades to Gayle are practically non-existent. McArthur is certainly one I'd encourage debate on, though, since he was given attributes that reflect a completely different player from the one he actually plays like, so I'm struggling with him.

I don't think those are overrated. Care to tell me exactly which ones are? I'd rather present upgrades and have them discussed than just post 'Gayle upgrade plz'. Think it's more helpful that way.

He helped a little with Palace last year and is usually spot on with these things. Obviously fans of clubs can be biased towards there teams but there is also no-one who knows them better

It is definitely a problem, rating your own club's players. Whenever I do my changes I usually ask someone I know to do them and then go over them myself with a fine toothed comb because it is so so easy to be biased in these situations. ****, just look at the Liverpool researcher for this year, who got replaced because he was a mixture of completely biased and a bit of a ****. :P

EDIT: Actually on that Liverpool note, did you give Sterling the 'avoids weaker foot PPM', or was it already there?

Dortmund are one team that do need to be looked at... I keep having the mentality that i'll reduce some and then they'll start playing well again

but it is February and they're still struggling so i'll take a look

Think I might've done a few other changes but nothing as major as those. I might've dropped Mignolet's concentration a tad but that's debateable. Liverpool's ratings were quite high in places, which makes sense given last year, but some of the high ratings were for players who didn't really contribute much; Johnson and Suso, for example. Johnson was particularly bad, since he was kinda average and yet I believe still had a higher CA than the likes of Clyne, Danilo and so on and so forth.

The way SI usually do that is dropping mentals a bit to reflect how they're playing under their potential. I believe that's what Nick the United researcher did after the year of Moyes.

Bolasie and Jedinak are the ones i disagree with, increasing tackling from 16 to 20 seems too much... I don't mind giving them slight upgrades but when i see 4-5 points added in certain key attributes that is something i dont agree with.

And also on the other post regarding giving Coutinho "looks for pass rather than shot" i would have to disagree with that one, from the games i have watched this season Coutinho prefers to shot even when there are teammates in better position, often taking unnecessary shots when the pass is much better option. I regard him as a great player but his biggest weakness is decision making that is why i would reduce his mental stats in game.

I disgaree with the Coutinho thing - quite often the problem with Liverpool has been Sterling, Lallana and Coutinho looking for the pass or the perfect goal rather than just shooting

Like I said, Jedinak was MEANT to have 20 tackling, but Will couldn't justify raising his CA any more, much as I argued he should. FWIW, last year Jedinak had the most successful tackles of anyone in Europe. The Palace researcher reasoned that Jedinak was very good at one thing, and that was tackling, so if anyone deserves that attribute it's him. He's still in the top 6 for this year in the Prem despite having played fewer minutes due to some niggling injuries and the Asian Cup. I think it's entirely fair. Even if it isn't, nobody can really argue that 16 is right given how he's been dominant for the past two and a half years in that department. At least 19 is fair.

As for Bolasie, I don't believe I improved him in any singular attribute 4-5 points. I accentuated what he's been doing well this season - and he has been simply mesmerising in his dribbling at times - but kept his low mentals because he needs far more consistency to his game. And his finishing is still simply terrible. :P

Bolasie is certainly a strange one. Looks a world beater at times and then pretty useless the rest... There definitely seems to be no in between!

Fair enough, you do have a point there. I still think Coutinho is too good in game and becomes a world beater which i doubt he will ever become irl. 31 games 2 goals 5 assists and 2 of those assists were in the previous game that is not really impressive for a player in his position.

You should give Manolo Gabbiadini 20 at AMR played there at Sampdoria and also plays there for Napoli.
