LFCMarshall's FM14 update suggestion thread

If it says it can't load it because the isthmanian league doesn't have enough teams.
Open lfc marshall transfer update in the editor, search for the isthmanian league in "competitions" tab and add one team (just click add, search "team" and add some team that is in no other league so you won't risk breaking another competition).
That will fix it.

Again, i'm not sure that will work - because there is nothing wrong with my update so when you load the update there will be 22 teams in the league?

I cant see them signing anyone else this window, LVG is saying how content he is with his squad, worse thing Woodward did was say how United have unlimited funds because it inflates the market for them.

United will sign a few more in my opinion

When you load the update in the editor it shows only 21 teams (and so does in-game).
You add another team via editor, works perfectly.

The bit about vidal was obviosuly a joke, he still might come to united, altough I doubt it, who knows.
But united need more players, that's for sure, there is no cover for LB, evra and buttner left.
Also carrick injured 3 months, and the team only has 3 decent (at most) center backs, who are injury prone.

I think Vidal is very likely actually

Does anyone know why i can't manage a team in England anymore it says that i'm missing teams from the skrill premier and skrill north since i downloaded the update :S

You either have a pirate copy of the game, have selected more than one custom database or dont have 14.3 official update

Mate, just a few impressions:

This update is GREAT for people who plays with a teams from TOP 5 European Leagues, no doubt about it.

For other leagues, as one who done editing before, I think you should be A LOT better, AS WELL AS A SUGGESTIONS people are posting here, You can't yell "YEP" and "DONE" while actually you're not really considering some of the suggestions EVER! I followed this thread with much attention as I'm using suggestions for my private work, and today when you released this version - I saw how much suggestions you've missed.

I have much respect for your work, also for other authors, but YOU HAVE TO IMPROVE THIS mate! Simply HAVE TO!

And for those who have pirate versions - yes, they also can use this update,a s well as any other! I know a lot of people around me using updates from this forum on a pirate versions and it's working just fine.

I dont have the time to do every league, hence why i focus usually on the top european leagues - the leagues that get played the most

I reply to everybody to acknowledge that i've seen their suggestion, hence me using 'yes'. I only ever put 'done' if in fact i have done the suggestions they have posted when i reply

For the first time ever, today i downloaded the Update. With all the hype i was expecting something like 80.000-100.000 changes to the original DDBB but, with all the respect (I'm also and updater and i know the hard work behind it) I was a bit disappointed.

If you expect every single league done, including all minor leagues then wait for the new FM to come out - unless there are numerous people doing the update people have day jobs as well

I do this is my spare time - for free i may add.

I also work and do my update in my spare time but, for example, in my update almost every Liga BBVA and Liga Adelante player is edited according to their performances last season (I'm from Spain so the leagues i have more knowledge about). I wasn't explicating every single league edited on the update, but I'm not gonna lie, i was expecting more.

That's fair enough - I don't have time to do more at the moment and already spend hours each day so you'll have to find another database

I'd rather have him do most of the important transfers from all around, rather than concentrate on 2 or 3 leagues and do 100% of the transfers and attribute changes.

Always said there are better updates out there for volume of transfers - Its the attribute/ability that make it so popular in my opinion

Plus i focus on the major leagues, the leagues the majority of people who download my update use
