LFCMarshall's FM14 update suggestion thread

Dundee FC - Willie Dyer's CA and PA are all out of whack. Leighton McIntosh seems to be a bit low as well(also has a long term injury)

Also the Chairman and stuff needs to be updated since the Texas based investment/takeover. I'm guessing this should also include a budget and an investment of money that appears to have not been added too.

Director of Football Operations - John Nelms
Steve Martin - Director
(Some others as well but Dundee don't release a lot of info and it's hard to find)

Initial investment was worth about ?650,000 with an extra ?600,000+ to come within the next year. Youth Recruitment should also be upgraded to reflect the new investors improvements. Don't know what else is yet to come but they appear to be prepared to invest a fair bit

Archie Knox also holds a job similar to a Chief Scout/First Team Adviser/Director of Football/Head of Youth Development at Dundee now and Gavin Rae is a Player/Coach. A guy called Gavin Burns also appears to be like an U19's/Youth/Reserve Manager.

There are also some youth players missing but a lot of them don't have much in the way of details to find.

Shaun Miller at Sheffield United needs a sizable boost, before his bad injury last year he was our best player and showed bags of talent, yet in the game he's barely League 2 standard, has got the same PA as Darryl Westlake and Matt Hill (who are absolutely abysmal irl), and has just remained the same as he has been for the past 2/3 years. He's every bit as important to us as Harry Maguire, George Long and Tony McMahon who all have a much, much higher CA/PA.

Also Harry Maguire needs increased loyalty and whatever; in real life his dad is his agent, he's a Sheffield lad through and through and a few months back he came out and said that he wants to play Premier League football with us at any cost, yet in every game I've started (manager of SUFC or not), he immediately requests a transfer away and gets all ****** about it if you don't grant him one, something he'd never do in real life.

Stefan Johansen from Str?mgodset in the Tippeligaen deserves an upgrade. Been fantastic so far, considered the best player in the Tippeligaen by many and clubs like Milan and Spurs have been after his signature. Should have an upgrade in passing, dribbling, decisions, flair and creativity.

As a West Ham fan, I'm upset to see that statistics didn't change (except a little bit for Diam?) since FM 2012... Some players need a real upgrade, W. Reid for example, Noble, Tomkins, Ravel Morrison, Downing, etc.

downing does not need an upgrade hes terrible IRL why you think hes nicknamed S.Downsyndrome ....but ravel morrison looks class noble and tomkins are very good

few ill look at, not sure the likes of downing deserve an upgrade though

Also Ryan Taylor is doing scouting work for Newcastle to keep him occupied since he has already been out for 1 season injured and wont be back until next season.

Mark Reynolds of Aberdeen is far quicker than his stats suggest while Ryan Fraser of Bournemouth is sooooooo under-rated.

One question : will your changes affect the in-game transfer system ? like the prices of a players and the club interests in some players

And also, Simon Mignolet, Benteke, Luke Shaw and Dejan Lovren deserves a huge improvment

some will, but only if i make a player considerably different which i havn't done so far

the players mentioned have been improved

Shrewsbury stadium has a typo it says "Greenhous Meadow" ***missing the -e

I think Rodwell and Guidetti at City deserves a higher PA... and i think these three are still underrated eliaquim mangala, nemanja matic and Daniel Sturridge

Australia manager changes:
-Holger Osieck was Australia national manager is now unemployed
-Ange Postecoglou was Melbourne Victory manager is now Australia national manager
-Kevin Muscat was Melbourne Victory assistant manager is now Melbourne Victory Manager

Also Lucas Neill is set as a retired person in the database and no longer shows up in game despite the fact that he is still captain of Australia. I think they've done this because he is playing for Omiya Ardija in Japan. He's only under contract in Japan for 5 more weeks so I think he should be set as a free agent. Unfortunately his stats have been removed as a result of being set as retired, you could probably just get his information from the FM2013 editor though.

Not checked out much but why is Kris Commons always horrible for Celtic? he's been one of their best players every season since he's went there yet on FM he's so bad they never use him and want to get rid as soon as they can? beggars belief.

Some arsenal players really needs a boost:
Koscielny is playing so good for two seasons and still have the same atributes.
Ramsey, cazorla, gibbs, gnabry, giroud...
otherwise, diaby dont play almost for two seasons and still have really nice atributes, what a shame.

Mandzukic finishing 12??? Aubameyang with that technical atributes is a shame too

Kasami's CA needs improving, been in fine form this season. Also, Omri Altman should be a permanent transfer to Maccabi Tel Aviv, not a loan. Cheers!

Howdy Marshall. Happy to see you still are doing your thing. I have a couple of suggestions: Mats M?ller Dehli has been playing @ Molde in Norway this season. I think it is a deal where Man Utd can buy him back for more or less nothing if they want to after the season (or next). Either way: He was voted best player in the U-18s for Manchester United when he played together with Januzaj. He should at least have a CA update. He is currently one of those terrible youngsters who only becomes good if you give A LOT of "undeserved" time on the pitch, if you understand me correctly. Been really good for Molde, and Solskj?r says chances are almost 100% he is going back to Manchester.

Nastasic @ Man City should be better or at least just as good as Lescott imo. He has played all games this season.
Aguero should have better heading stats. His height does not make him a terror in the air, but his skills at actually heading the ball are pretty darn good. I also think Negredo should be slightly better, perhaps a tad bit faster and/or petter passing skills. I think he has been one of Citys top perfomers this season. Karim Rekik should have a lot better CA overall, a regular starter for PSV this season. Including in the Champions League play-offs.

Liverpool: Mignolet has already been looked at i reckon. Sterling should get better technique and maybe a overall CA upgrade. Perhaps upgrade the CA of some of their promising youngsters such as McLaughlin, Lloyd Jones, Flanagan and Adam Morgan.

Tottenham: Vertongen should be faster imo. Chiriches a tiny bit better maybe.

Loic Remy @ Newcastle should have better finishing. 13 doesnt make sense as he is more or less a genuine poacher.

Callum Chambers @ Soton should maybe have higher PA (Havent checked it though). Lambert should be slightly faster. His determination still makes NO sense. 10 for captain and a really hard working forward who got his first cap past 30 years old....blah. Lallana should be slightly faster. Maybe a slight upgrade to Jay Rodriguez CA. Been good this year.

A lot of youngsters CA needs to be upgraded, I can come back to further ones after I have played some. I dont know why SI insists that players with bags of potential have TERRIBLE CA at this very moment. I dont think managers would let, for instance, Serge Gnabry play if he was so bad versus the players on the other team.

I believe Gyasi Zardes of LA Galaxy should have a higher rating. First team regular and important performer for them yet he usually get's loaned out on the game and has very poor stats for a player of his quality. Also, maybe the likes of Gnabry, Kasami, Morisson and Januzaj all need improving, after their breakthough season's for their respective clubs. The transfer budget's for many teams are a bit off centre shall I see, I mean, Aston Villa with no money to spend is nothing short of ridiculous.

Exactly the here lad's! Started a small save for now just to get used to the game, but when this update comes out that's when it will start properly.

fm14, altered the introduction now.... the promotions/relegations and some other things are what is to be included by the end of the file - basically next summer
