LFCMarshall's FM14 update suggestion thread

Lucas Leiva seems a bit too quick in my opinion. If you watch him in real life compared to others with the 12 acceleration and 12 pace then he is far too quick in FM. In real life he can hardly run at all haha

Not sure if I have your most recent update, think I have the first one out after the January transfer window, so sorry if this has been done... But Liverpool's strength is in their attack (stating the obvious).

Maybe you need to make Suarez better? In my current save Suarez just isn't scoring enough. His best season was in 16/17 where he got 17 league goals and the 3 seasons prior to that he has got 12, 9, 8! Not sure where to improve him (He's 33 on mine so stats won't be the same) so maybe something to look at yourself. Potentially teamwork as he's much more of a team player now than he was (evidenced by his assists)

Same applies to Sturridge...he didn't score over 10 goals for Liverpool until the 3rd season (scored 3 in the first!!) and his average assists per season is 3! Maybe improve his heading (currently 8 on mine but he is older), passing (9) and some mental attributes?

Sterling hasn't done anything either, average assists over 7 seasons is 2.5 and average goals is under 2. Finishing, long shots and passing all to improve?

Flanagan to be improve also?

These are just suggestions as I'm quite far into my game so stats are inaccurate. Also, Sturridge and Suarez as favoured personnel to each other? Don't know if it affects their link-up play?

You've probably done this too but Lallana to improve (mainly CA)

all been looked at mate.. just running tests now to see how it all looks
 
With clubs announcing their retained lists will they be an update in the future? If you need people to help you do the db I will be more than happy to help out.

Late may/ early june will be the first update depending on league finishes and how much i get done

Nice one mate, one thing i do want to do before the first release is at least in England do the player join dates again. I think i done a lot in January. But i cant remember. Can you? It's so frustrating not being able to sell the rubbish left there before as they have "just joined"

Yes it is something i want to get round to doing..... suddenly realised there is a fair bit to do before first release haha

I wont release the first update until most of the relegations/promotions are done from all the major countries

I will also sort out european qualification
 
has the leeds united ownership been changed to having massimo cellino in charge and the potential sale of aston villa?
 
Ricardo Kishna is leaving Ajax as his contracts up in a few weeks and they haven't agreed new terms. Will Keane is the same at United along with Jack Barmby, Sam Byrne, Jack Rudge and Jonny Sutherland.

Nicholas Ioannou has joined Apoel Nicosia and Ben Barber has joined Blackburn. All confirmed by their clubs last week.

Also Januzaj declared for Belgium just incase it slipped by you and Andreas Pereira has declared for Brazil as he was previously part of the Belgium youth setup.

Also the Mirror reporting United have signed Louis Laing from Sunderland on a free transfer after being granted his release and a sucessful trial at United.
 
We be able to put Aston Villa up for sale. Any idea when Lerner will be making his statement?
