rumours say that Bielsa is going to be Sevilla's manager next season.
i would love to see him managing in Europe, he was a few days in charge of Espanyol but he left when he was offered the Argentina job

Bielsa is a great coach, his sacking was one of the most infamous events in the last decade of the Selección. I think he can do great things at Sevilla.

I doubt Pep could do the things Mourinho has done. But it's not really that hard for Pep to succeed with those players he has now.
C'mon man! I know that haveing such a gret players make things easier, but winning every trophy his team was involved in is not exactly an easy thing to achieve.
Easier? Well of course it would be easier with Barça squad that with Zaragoza's, but guardiola has to be given credit for that mate.

Even you'd have to recognize that.

It would be interesting to see. I think Sevilla and Bielsa could fit quite well toguether.

and sporting gijon just ended mourinho's 9 years unbeaten in home record.
I think there's no chance of Real Madrid winning the league now

Great news for Barcelona.

If they win they can extend to 8 points, if they lose then no harm done.

If the title wasn't won already, that loss for Madrid seems to have sealed it for Barcelona.

Had a funny thought with that Madrid loss... it was when Barcelona were held to a draw by Sporting Gijon that everybody said blew the title race wide open (when it was so far from closed in the first place) and now it's the same side that almost certainly have closed it.

I Must admit as a Madridsta I feel the title is not to acheiviable this season, and in saying that we must give credit to this Barcelona and espeicially to Pep, He is a gifted manager, Although it must be said he is not in the league of Jose, Alex or even Rednapp. Before you haters hate again, let me explain, he has the potential just as Sanchez or Hernandez have the potential to be the best players in the world...but they aren't there yet and still have to acheive more to garner that title. It is the same with Pep, he may have won a lot (with a good set of players that where set up by Rikaard) but he has no-where near the amount of trophees or prestige as the other mentioned managers. Jose has done it all, and will be heralded as the greatest footballing mind ever if he can one day lead my beloved Portugal to World Cup success... Yes a very differcult ask,but one I have no doubt he is capable of doing...Why you ask? Simple, He is "the special one"

^ acting as if Mourinho did it all without a good set of players.

Exactly, thats my problem. Some days, all I hear is "Oezil's better than Iniesta, Ronaldo's better than Messi, Khedira's better than Busquets," other days, it's "Barcelona have much better players so Mourinho's a better coach." Where's the constistency?

Oh and "luke the blanco," Hernandez will never reach the likes of Villa, Torres at his best, Eto'o or even Rooney on his best form. Really depends on your definition of world class, but I'd call Hernandez nothing more than a good striker with some potential to improve.

And Pep's players WERE NOT set up by Rijkaard! Rijkaard wasn't sacked for fun! He couldn't win! Txiki Begiristain dealt with all the transfers. If anything, Rijkaard had better players than Pep! For one whole year, Rijkaard had a Messi that was reaching his potential, and a Ronaldinho that was only just starting to slip with Eto'o in the middle (who doesn't touch David Villa, just so we know.) Everybody knows that's a better combo than Messi as he is, Villa and Pedro.

 Ronaldinho

Valencia v Villarreal. What a game in prospect. Hoping to see Valencia take it but should be an end to end game

I could see it going the same way Atletico v Villarreal did. Sounds exciting, but I can't imagine it being as competitive as people think it will be. Still, I hope they prove me wrong, I'd love Villarreal to take the win in a close game.

Gonna be all about the forwards for sure though. Whoever Valencia use in holding mid will shackle Borja, meaning the key men are probably gonna be Rossi, Nilmar and Soldado.

Team was built by Rijkaard. No doubt in that. He won a lot but Ronaldinho's antics didn't help his case later which Pep did a brilliant job to sell Ronaldinho, Deco and all.

In Pep's team we have Messi who has reached his peak and way way better than under Rijkaard. At that time Messi was just a immensely promising player.

Pep's have have Xavi_Iniesta who are >>>>>>>>> back in 2005-06.

Pep's team without a doubt is better than Rijkaard;s. But the foundation was laid by Rijkaard. Without whom i dont think Pep would have been sucessful.

And i didn't get Eto'o Villa part. You mean Eto'o cant touch Villa? If so it is a massive statement. There is no big game player than Eto'o. Any day i would take Eto'o over Villa.

Villa has not scored for 9 hours now. I dont think Eto'o can do that with that mid field behind him.

4 El Classico's in around 2 weeks! Jizzing everywhere.

Well don't fully agree with that popular belief now that says that this team comes from what Rijkaard did.

I mean; Rijkaard wasn't the first manager who proposed this style of playing nor this philosophy in that club.

And apart from this, even though Pep inherited a great squad, many other player appeared under his management (Pedro, Busquets). And Messi has become what he is now under his management as well. I agree he appearedin Rijkaard's era, and he made him grow up very well, but Messi has changed slightly and he is the (even more) superb player that we all know nowadays because of Pep. At least that's my vision.

Anyway, it seems that a great squad ensures success. Pep, in his very first year, won 6 title out of 6 tournaments played. And all credit has to be given to him by that. It is not easy, it requires great management skills.
On the other hand, how many clubs with great and expensive squads have done ****-all for years? That's it.

I think many people is quite unfair with Guardiola.

Weird that you should say that I gave credit to Pep and you still bite my head off, you are a fool if you don't beleive Rijkaard laid the foundations, Messi,Iniesta, and co were allowed to learn and ply their trade ther under him, yeah pep did well selling Deco and Co but if that is the measure of a great manager we will have to put mediocre guys like Phil Brown,Alex Mcleish and Leonardo in the list to...

On Jose again he hasn't always had the great players lets not forget chelsea, who he had to find Drogba, had to devlope Cole... His Porto team was by no means a master class of Talent but he still managed to mastermind the downfall of the great Alex F..You are ignorant if you believe Pep is already near the top...I maintain my stance he is like Hernandez, i never said Hernandez would be as good as Villa but with an extraordinary rise he may well be just like Pep...At moment both have long long way to go

Oh parting note is the fact that Trapitoni,Capello, Del Bosque, Ferguson, Ancelotti,Lippi, Alberto fareira ,Van Gaal Cruif, Munoz, Herrera and lastl Jose and many more are currently more prestigous than Pep ( don't bite my head of as i did say maybe oneday he can pull off a miricle and join em)

How is that people become ignorants if they think otherwise as you do?
Learn to respect people when you argue about something.

I'm sure Jose didn't manage Arsenal. Cole was ******* World class player when he joined Chelsea.

Jose had great squad too..

He had likes of Claude Makélélé., Mutu(Who was great talent), Lampard, Joe Cole, Duff, Gallas, Veron, Crespo, Terry, Drogba, Robben, Carvalho, Cech. Yes few he signed but still he had great team,

anyone have facepack (the complete one) ? i really bored with the default one. thx
