Not surprised Sociedad got that draw, it's a touch place to go and they're hardly whipping boys.

Haven't caught up with it yet, watching the highlights later. All I've seen is the player stats, perhaps this will shut up the mainstream who say La Liga is a 2 club league?

Until the next 6-0 thumping of course, Sociedad is a well ran club lately and they have bought extremely well this summer. I think Madrid will capitalize though, predicting 4-0 win for them. I predicted this one as a 3-3 draw, the Anoeta is a very tough place to travel even in amazing form.

I think they are right about the 2 club league over the course of the season (IIRC Valencia finished closer to relegation than the title on points and they finished 3rd), but it wont stop teams from trying to bridge it

Nope, still think it's a 2 clubs league. The quality of the Madrid and Barca compared to the quality of Valencia is huge, much bigger than it is in any other top league.

Soldado is very close to getting in the Spain NT starting 11, another goal last night when they defeated Atleti.

Was far from lacklustre from Atletico though, they're integrating all the new players and trying to find a system that works. Rather annoyed with the amount of crosses that got put into the box last night, Falcao was the only target in the 18 yard box so it really wasn't worth constantly crossing. Diego looked extremely good when he came on, if a bit shot shy, he changed the shape up front and made things happen. Piatti for Valencia showed glimpses of his class and it's a big step up for him moving to Valencia from Almeri so he will take time to settle in.

Athletic Club tonight, looking forward to watching Bielsa's men, got 4 of my fantasy team riding on Bilbao winning so hopefully Bielsa's team get it done.

Not ideal performance by Madrid, extreamly disapointed with the pora contingent. I thought Pepe was caught out way to many times... coentrao was energetic but wasteful especially when it came to simple distribution. Carvalho and Ron had quiete games and never caught the eye....

Saying that ozil was class.. and with coetrao in midfield i thought we where very exposed... i miss khedira already hahaha.

surprisingly gatafe outplayed us in the tactics department (questions asked of jose i guess )

But all in all after an international break we got the important 3 points... loving that Barce drew, abd threw away a two goal lead, they are mortal after all :) hey any coincedence, Frabegas moves to barce and they suffer a calamitous calapse... come on frab lets hope you bring the aresnal desease;)

On final note good game Tsepo, had great game for Gatafe

Watching Revista De La Liga this morning and any reason why half the team's have no shirt sponsor? :)

Anyone watching the Barca-Osasuna game?
Fabregas with a wonderful finish to put Barca 2-0 up within 13 minutes.

First half over between Barça and Osasuna. Barcelona 5-0 up and had 86% ball possession.

Least competitive league ever.

Barca are playing amazing stuff. They'd do this to all PL bottom half teams playing like this and most top half.

Armand Traore would do a better job at covering Alves than Osasuna's left back, lmao.

Ijust love watching Barcelona play. They are an incredible side and imo no other team comes close to them at this moment in time.

It's not the lack of competitivity, it's the fact that Barca and Madrid really are that good.

They'd probably score the **** out of them, but 86% possession? Seriously?
