They'd probably score the **** out of them, but 86% possession? Seriously?
How much possession did they have at Wembley? 72% I believe.
The squad of Barcelona is just ridiculous.

Insane that it was 8-0, but considering Manchester United beat Arsenal 8-2 earlier in the season you can't say this result makes the league the least competitive.
Had to do an article for a betting site and wanted to predict 5-0, but just put the odds down for "Barca to win by 3+ goals" so quite happy that came through.
The bit that scares me the most about this result is that this is Barcelona without Gerard Pique, Andres Iniesta, Alexis Sanchez, Pedro and Ibrahim Afellay. That's just an incredible squad of players to choose from. To think, people actually doubted how Fabregas would fit into this team, he seems to be making them tick in his new role.
They did have him, besides he's not that good.

He isn't fully fit plus he's better than a lot of wingers in the Premier League imo.
Why exactly can't I say that? Arsenal were missing lots of first teamers, had a very depleted squad, and were nowhere near the team they were last season. Of course nobody expected them to concede 8 but a defeat was clearly in order. Also, you can expect ~4 English clubs to be in the title race this year, around the same number of Italian teams, the Bundesliga is somewhat of a mistery, although Bayern seem the most likely candidate. France is a puzzle, too. Out of the 'better' leagues of Europe I think La Liga is currently the least competitive, perhaps even less competitive than the portuguese league.
//Edit - And saying I'm basing myself on one result is silly. Very silly, to say the least. I used to try to defend La Liga but the fact it's pretty much a dead league is clearer by the minute.
I wasn't talking about you specifically, in general a lot of people have been saying it. Osasuna's defeat "was in order" because they're playing a far better team. Nobody expected them to concede 8 goals either, but Barcelona are just that good. La Liga is very competitive, but the top two teams are ahead of everyone because of the huge financial gap between the clubs. Look at the TV money difference between all the teams and you'll see how unfair the league is and how badly it's run.
You're contradicting yourself. It's that financial gap that makes the league non-competitive. And yes, I was expecting Osasuna to lose by no less than 6 goals and I expect at least 15 other whoopings like this one, by either Barça or Madrid, throughout the season.
So you expect 15 more 8-0's between the two clubs this season? Okay :$
The league is still a competitive league. But those two teams are the only ones going for the title but there are 6 or 7 other teams going for Champions League places. That makes the league a very competitive league.
I expect another 15 6+ scores.
And your reasoning is ****, honestly. The league is competitive because, despite being 20 points behind the leaders, they're still fighting to qualify for European competition! Yay!

Well the last 7 years only Manchester United and Chelsea have won the league. We've had the odd extra title challenge from Arsenal (when Eduardo broke his leg and they crumbled).
Well the last 7 years only Manchester United and Chelsea have won the league. We've had the odd extra title challenge from Arsenal (when Eduardo broke his leg and they crumbled) and Liverpool (when they finished second). Other than that it's been United and Chelsea every year. This year City have joined the fray because of their billions so we have a 3 team race for the title with 4/5 teams fighting for European positioning.
In Spain it's been Barcelona and Real every year with a few exceptions (Valencia and Deportivo La Coruna, who have just been relegated, winning the league in the last 10 years). They then have 5/6 teams pushing for European positions. Sounds a bit similar right? Only difference is the gap between the top two and the rest. But those two Spanish teams have got the best squads in world football, so what else would you expect. It's still a competitive league, just the top two teams always finish in the top 2 positions, just like the Premiership.
20 point gap =/= 5, 6 point gap.
Regardless, it's been two sides for the last 7 years with 2 exceptions. Same as Spanish league. It's just as competitive, but the two Spanish sides have better squads than all the English teams so they're bound to get more points.
