League Rules / Update

Hey All,

So I have been working on the league system and a few rules and I think what I have now is going to work out.

Basic Rules and Regulations:

1. Malta:
- Malta's Euro Coefficient @ 0.875
- Ta' Qali Stadium:
- Renovated and improved to a capacity of 35000 seats. Will be used for the Maltese National Team, Coupe de la Ligue Finals and Coupe des Coupes Match.
- Expansion capacity of 50000.
- Undersoil Heating was installed during the renovations.
- Sponsorship deal with Taiwanese electronic company FOXCONN.
- New Stadium Name: Ta' Qali FOXCONN Stadium.

2. Ligue des Capitales:
- 1 League Division with 16 Team split in 2 Groups of 8 Teams each.
- 4 rounds of games against each team of the same group. Top 2 teams from both groups go into a 4 Team Playoffs.
- Winner gains place to Champions League.

3. Coupe de la Ligue:
- All 16 Teams Drawn into a Knockout Rounds: Round of 16, Quarter Finals, Semi Finals and Finals.
- Home & Away Matches except for Finals.
- Away Goals / Extra Time / Penalty Rules.
- Finals played at Ta' Qali FOXCONN Stadium in Mdina, Malta.
- Winner gains place to Europa League.

4. Coupe des Coupes:
- Ligue des Capitales Winner vs Coupe de la Ligue Winner.
- Match played 1 week before the start of the Ligue des Capitales Season.
- Match played at Ta' Qali FOXCONN Stadium in Mdina, Malta.

- The LdC Federations will allow a maximum of 2 clubs based from the same city.

6. Others:
- Awards will be announced soon. The awards will follow most European leagues. Golden Boot, Glove, Manager of the Year, etc.

7. Idea?:
- If you have any other ideas, please let me know. The league system is 95% complete. For now, everything works fine and have tested them for about 3/4 years.
- 3 Free Players: Ability to sign 3 players of your choosing. There will be regulations on who will be available, that is to come in a future post.
- Managers: I will try to get a list of managers who are not signed to any club and owners will decide on who they would like to sign to start the season.

Awesome entries lads. We already have 11 teams registered + 1 that is mine. :) So there are 4 places left. I will post the list of teams and their cities later in the day to know which ones will be available to pick from. It will also include the announcement on signing players and the manager. Please remember that this is only for the start of the league, and once the simulation starts, nothing will be changeable. It's in 'God's' hands from there. :)
