We were dominant in the first half with Carmo getting an early goal but after Matthews got sent off we struggled and they managed to grab an equalizer to take into the second leg.

Ah thats a ****** of a group draw despite the fact we are now in the 3rd pot of seeds as we get drawn against Bayern who we knocked out of the 1st Knockout rnds 2 years ago whilst Porto knocked us out of the same round last year.

Currently 10 points clear at the top of the table but im glad to see that we dont have any games in hand as last year it got rather ridiculous.
Dundalk are doing pretty good to be only 10 points behind with 20 wins from 26 league games so far this season.

Its something i never managed on last years Limerick save and has me now pumped and ready to continue the rise of Limerick, I think you may be seeing a lot more young foreign prospects in the Limerick ranks ready to change allegiance to Ireland's cause.

Well as you can see Belgium are on another level to us and are guaranteed to top the group. Januzaj smashed in a hattrick along with Lukaku and Hazard grabbing goals, I was pretty pleased with our attacking prowess though as we managed to hit 3 goals back at them.

Good update again i have started a game with achilles' 29 in Holland there also semi-prof and they promoted this year to jupiler league so financi?l there is nothing to work with and everything needs to be build up faciliteiten are really bad

Sounds pretty tough! My club is not really financial sound as we need European football to maintain ourselves, If i came second and or got didnt make the group stages we would be screwed, the other thing is trying to raise the attendance, Im never going to get a new stadium as our current one holds 15,000 and our average league attendance is not even at 5,000 but its probably doubled since i took over so its going to take a long time but those sorts of saves are a lot more fun

This was our 6th League Cup win in a row and our 4th against Dundalk, Were currently equal with the most time winners Derry City with 10 Cup wins so next season could be our year to break another record.

It felt good to beat our biggest rivals Dundalk 3 times this month across 3 competitions as we smash 10 goals in 2 Senior Challenge Cup games along with 2 league wins with the Derry City 5-0 romping confirming the league title.

So we are 13 points clear with a game in hand with 5 league games to go, Dundalk are back up to second place after last seasons mishap but the fact we beat them 3 times comfortably this month shows we are that much better than everyone else in Ireland.

Leckey is currently equal top goalscorer now as he hasnt played too much in the league recently whilst Ozil has the same amount of assists as Leckey has goals.
Boadu has the highest average rating in the league so far at a ridiculous 8.32 average rating per game.​

Well i onley have 4k wage budget to play around with and the Lucky part onley 3 peeps of main team has a contract so can kick out any one who i don't need my media predection is to be Come 20th last position

Brady scored an own goal early on in Germany and we simply never recovered as we get thrashed 5-0 by Bayern Munich who get revenge on us after we knocked them out of the Champions League a couple of years ago.

A back and forth game as Porto went 3-0 up before we managed to grab a couple of goals back late on but as we went to push for the win we needed they hit us twice more on the counter attack and we lost heavily 5-2.

An amazing first full season for Leckey as he breaks Maher's goalscoring records for goals in a season with 56 goals in only 54 games.
He also grabbed 19 assists this season and at only 20 years of age he hasnt even reached his potential yet.

Hes a proper Irish man now and is the Captain of the National team, He had a good season but will hope to not pick up so many injuries next year if he wants to kick on.
He only took part in 30 games in all competitions this season but still managed a crazy 26 goals and 16 assists in a injury hit season.

Hes just been awesome, Unlike a lot of the other older guys i have brought in he can still do it at a lot higher level and has shown that with his decent form this season.
In his first season he scored 25 goals and had 35 assists this year despite being 34 years of age and has just signed a 2 year contract extension with us.

Wow so 10 years has really flown by! Val Feeney is the only player who has been with the club since before i took over, He was only a youngster then and is now an experienced 27 year old.
So despite losing his starting spot this season and being the grand old age of 25 after arriving from the first Youth Intake Maher is my most capped player since i took over with 4 more games than Feeney whilst he has also scored the most goals for the club.
Time has really been flying by in this game as it really doesnt feel like i have been playing for 10 seasons, Behan retired almost 4 years ago too!​

So no one of any note really left, Ogilvie and Quirke were youngsters with potential who just never made it near the first team whilst we also loaned out a lot of prospects.

So i only brought in 2 players as i didnt see the point in filling the squad up with too many players as i have a few prospects i want to give game time to.

We were 3-1 up before the sending off but it certainly helped us kill of the game and all but win the tie with the 5-2 win, Monaco have a very old squad and dont seem to have spent their money wisely in more recent times they do have English Attacking trio Walcott, AOC and Sterling in their squad though.

Carmo has a standout game in France as he scores right before half time with Leckey scoring the second goal of the night just before the hour mark to confirm the 7-2 on aggregate win!

We were ahead twice but unfortunately it ended in a draw and the fact we have to go to the Ukraine for the second leg is a big worry.
We got off to a good start with Boadu scoring in the opening minutes before Matthews scored an own goal at the beginning of the second half, Winger Harrison Barry soon put us back into the lead but not long after that we were back on level terms once more.

2nd Leg V Shakhtar - Away

Again we let a lead slip! Leckey had a mare of a game but it didnt matter to start with as Carmo and then Ozil shot us into a 2 goal lead, Shakhtar managed to rally though with a quick brace to send the 4-4 on aggregate tie to penalties.
7 out of 7 penalties were scored for both sides before our young English Left Back Cahill scored the 8th whilst Shakhtar's penalty was saved!

Anything could happen now! Its hard to tell 10 years in what some of these teams are like until you really study there recent form but id like to think the two teams i beat to get here in Monaco and Shakhtar are better sides than anyone thats left in the competition.

There wasnt much chance to play too many domestic games with all these European fixtures but we did manage 4 wins from 5 games but we only managed to draw with Shamrock Rovers.
We did get a couple of good early season wins in the league putting 6 goals past Shelbourne and Athlone Town with Leckey and Carmo getting hattricks in those games.

Forgotten man Maher smashes in a second half brace around the hour mark in a game where we had a shedload of chances before Samuelsen all but won us the tie with a late 3rd goal.

2nd Leg V Bordeaux - Home

Another decent display against the French side as Carmo puts us in front on the night just as we start the second half before Boadu seals the win with 10 minutes to go and we win the tie a comfortable 5-0 on aggregate.

Well we were massively helped out by them having a player sent off only a few minutes into the match, Ozil pulled the strings and knocked in a brace before they got a dubious penalty decision to get a goal back.
We soon had our 2 goal advantage back with Samuelsen scoring a 35 yard wonder goal before Sporting had another player sent off.

9 wins from 9 this month as we dominate across all the competitions we played a part in as i use the full squad to play in all the games that were coming at us.
It was nice to see young Irish Prospect Sean White grab a brace at the end of the month, the AMC has been out on loan in recent seasons and its really make or break this year.

Leckey tops the Golden Boot chart but im starting to wonder if i should have nabbed Connor Pepper, I took a look at him when his contract expired from Celtic recently but didnt think he would make the team but hes certainty helping Sligo Rovers give the league a go this season.​
