considering the performance of both teams i think villa were lucky to come out with a point, with a very lack lustre performance from them really.
wolves did well to raise their game, lets hope they stay up and the albion join them for the first time in premiership history to get the 4 west midlands teams up there

He made contact with him, no matter how minimal it was he made contact which stopped a goal scoring opportunity, therefore a penalty.
It had to be a red card, he was the last man.
I have no idea, sadly I wasn't officiating those matches.

More likely for vidic, just a **** up by the ref. Don't know the sol one you are referring too.
:S Just because a ref ***** up on vidic's tackle doesn't mean vermaelan shouldn't have been sent off if he was last man and there was a goal scoring oppurtunity.
