I don't know what to say... That was absolutely disgraceful - brilliant comeback from Newcastle, but we started the second half so badly; not just with the sending off but generally. Phil Dowd had one of the worst matches I've seen tbh - he got almost everything wrong.. Diaby maybe should have been sent off going by the modern day rulebook, but I don't think either of the penalties were right - Certainly the second one isn't (Koscielny just jumps in front of a Newcastle defender?). How we didn't hold onto a 4-0 lead otherwise, though is beyond me.
Bye bye title hopes.
Oh and @Clarky. - What's this got to do with Fabregas? In the sense that he's captain and should have ensure concentration levels didn't drop, yes. In terms of being ****, no - he's not a defender, and he didn't miss a hatful of passes/chances.
One last thing: RVP was onside when he volleyed in in the 94th minute.
I feel sick.
Glad that some Arsenal fans are willing to give us credit, the media will just say that it was all Arsenal's fault and make no mention of our performance.
The second penalty was very soft, but I think it was given because Rosicky raised his hands to Williamson while he was in the air, then he lost out and fell, but the arms made it look like he'd been pushed. Had he kept his hands down I doubt there'd have been a penalty.
RVP was just offside by what I saw and the replay of the incident, however Best was a full yard or two onside for his disallowed goal.
