Was alot better at Boro playing box to box, remember him playing outstanding vs MUFC for us a few years ago. SAFC turned him into what he is, sad really.

Bit of a low-key start for Fulham-Villa. JA Riise could've scored, so could Heskey, Bent scored but was offside. Promising signs for Villa though: we've controlled the game so far, and McLeish has (once more) confounded critics by not having his team hoof it every time they get the ball. Relatively nice football by both sides so far, actually.

His natural game is CM not CDM, was never asked to do too much defensively at Boro. Definitely played better box to box alongside Rochembak. He is very rash but if Bruce coached him back to a CM he would do alot better for them.

Doubt it. I predicted a 1-1 draw, and that looks fairly likely now. However, if someone gets an early second half goal there could be a whole flurry as the game opens up.
