Our recent European performances have moved us up in the UEFA coefficients so we're now
a seed 2 team. i'm delighted about this as it means we're now expected to get out of our groups

For the second year running we draw Real Madrid. While Ajax will pose tough opposition, I fully expect us
to get out of this group and make it to the First Knock out Round.

Quite a good performance. Good to see Sturridge continue his goal scoring run and dominate
from the Center Forward role.

Decent game. Keeps us climbing the early league table.

Amazing second half from us. Our clean sheet puts us above Real Madrid on G.D.

Denied at the death. The 90+2 minute goal was a kick in the teeth

This was Dramatic. Took us to extra time and we both scored. As I was preparing for penalties,
Sturridge grabbed the important goal. The man is one of our most important players! Fact.

Simple domination. Disappointed to concede in injury time but that's foot

October Fixtures

Steady start so far, with the Champions League draw that you have been given I fully expect you to get into the next round especially since you have already beaten Ajax away whom are your biggest "competitors" for 2nd place. Will be interesting to see how you'll deal with Madrid this time round.

I was certainly not expecting this result but by god, we dominated them. Butland getting his first taste
Champions League nights at home and what a clean sheet to grab on your home debut!

Followed up from our magnificent performance against Madrid with a 4-1 win. Ibe scoring a brace along
with Sturridge.

Probably should have been a more comfortable win but 2-0 is a decent scoreline.

F.C. Kobenhavn ran us right tot he end but we reached the halfway point in the group with 9 points form 9.
Miller scoring his first goal for the club as e's started more game. The kid came through our youth system
in my first year at the club and I think he's ready to start contributing tot he first team.

Always a pleasure to get one over the club next door! :)

Good month for you! I think you should start think sell Sturridge cause he is already injury prone and 29Y old and age don't help with injuries.. :( I'm sad to see him leave but that would leave place for a youngster or a new player

Aye, I'm thinking about it but I think I can get maybe one or two more years out of him. He's had sporadic injuries since coming back from the major one in 2015 but they've been mostly small niggles; 2-3 weeks each. The current one is his first long term injury in 3 years.

He's also scored 89 goals in the past 3 years so he's still massively important to us and contributing a lot to the team.

In a perfect world, I'll be selling him to make room for Mendy who'll have made himself un-droppable :P

Gutted for you with Sturridge, he's even better on the game than he is in real life and that's saying something!

Great month results wise too!

Haha, we haven't seen enough of him IRL to be really sure :P
Cheers mate. I've hit a run of form so it's a matter of getting as many points on the board as possible before the run slows down :)

Fantastic read mate! didn't see your FM 15 story until it was over, so glad to be following in real time this time round! best of luck this season

Cheers mate. Much Appreciated! :)
Delighted to have you hear now. I've done a lot of the early work in reshaping the club so the next 3 seasons should see massive leaps forward. Though i wasn't expecting to be battling for 1st in my 3rd season. So I'm ahead of schedule in my plan :)

The Manager that lead Westham to their first title chase in living memory, the manager
that took them to 5th place, has been sacked as they find themselves 19th after 12 games!

Go on Firminho! Grabbing a sensational Hat-trick. Young Mike O'Conner was given the nod to
start this game and he's been impressing me! Gave a solid performance and He'll be seeing
more game time before the end of the season.

Firminho grabbed his second hat-trick in as many games and it's great to
see the Brazilian performing well considering the shocking form he ended
last season with. We're top of the group with 4 wins from 4 and qualify
fort eh First Knock Out Round.

Absolute drama at the end. After letting a 2-0 lead slip, I was delighted with substitute Correa's
impact scorignt he all important 3rd goal. Real Kick int he teeth for United as they did well to
level the game after going two behind.

Bitterly disappointed by this one. Everton were just better than us. They controlled the game better
and took their chances better. Tough loss to take considering the fortuitous drama against Untied.

Origi continued his fantastic form and grabbed us the two goals that push us further out of Real
Madrid's reach in this group. What a contrast from last year though. Last year, we traveled to
Madrid with 1st place still up to fight for, now you arrive into The Spanish capital having already
secured the group and now it's juts bragging rights on offer here.

Congrats for reaching the top of the league !! I feel sorry for Southampton though ... Patrick get in this game and be the savior ha ha !

Great month there man, Firmino is on fire! I felt bad that I got rid of him but felt I had to due to hardly playing a number 10 and he didn't adapt to the wing well!

I think you may just win it this season!

Cheers mate. Yeah, they've already been relegated this season :P They won teh championship and came straight up but they're struggling.

I'm a huge fan of Firminho. Never managed him until now as I never came across him on other FMs. I knew about him but never signed him. I find he's very good wide Right (as a wide poacher or inside forward) or as an Advanced Playmaker through the middle. If you find yourself needing a F9 or a creative forward, he slots in there nicely and has played well as a Striker for me. I love him since he's so versatile :)
