Liverpool FC: The 5 Year Plan

..... Just using the default.

I've ended up switching back to the default on '16 as I was getting a 'lack of memory' message and crash with the skin/ background I normally roll with. Made even doubly frustrating by the fact I have a **** ton of free memory on the Mac. :@.

No problems to press since I switched back.

I've never used any custom skins. They just never appealed to me personally.

I never did until recently. '14 (maybe FM13?) when I hit upon stadium backgrounds. And ever since I've had a thing for having some picture of each clubs ground either in the background or a smaller pane on the screen.

Until now lol.

This Mendy guy is so amazing, love him already :P
Ouch, tough month awaits you,Chelsea seems favourite, but who knows what Brendn can do,all i know is that you can(with a bit of luck) win the BPL,extremely hard, but worth trying.

It just wasn't meant to be. PSG were too strong at home and we couldn't get the result we needed.
Still I'm very proud of getting through our group and qualifying for the last 16 as a 3rd seed. This
season's performances should definitely stand to us in new years draw.

Mendy is getting into the swing of first team action and is putting in decent performances
without goals. I've to decide if he'll be at Liverpool or on loan next year.

With only 2 points separating 1st from 4th, I can only hope. Though Chelsea and West Ham
have game sin hand, I'm optimistic we'll get our chances again. The last 6 games usually
through a shock or two. Though our reaming fixtures don't make things easy for us.

Should have put Mendy in against PSG ;) That is a very tight top 4! Although I would like to see you win the league it interesting to see how West Ham will fare for the final few games of the season! Tough call on Mendy next season! A foreign team with CL football next season could be a good option for him or a top 10 PL team?

To me this whole Mendy-debate isn't that big of a problem. Whenever I have a region/youngster that performs as well as he does, or just got some nice stats, I always include as a 1st team member, playing them regularly and maybe sell 1 or 2 of his rivals for the spot. Give him the chance, like you've already have, and you won't regret it. At least that's what I always do, and it always works :)

like i said you're never going to win the title or UCL if you're not going to sign some megastars. Good luck buying mid table players again this summer.

Hey Brendn, do you think you can pluck up another Meme here? :P

You don't quit do you!! Bredn sign MESSI NOW!!!!!

Further note i've been a silent reader to now, going very well, presentation is brilliant well done!
I haven't brought FM16 yet but between Yours, Jamie's and the two Southampton Stories (Saints Fan) I have an itch to play even though I just brought fallout!

Keep going! Mendy is going to be a future Ballon d'Or winner if he keeps it up!

Haha. I had Sturridge available so I gave him the nod up front. He's a more reliable goal scorer and I didn't want to burden Mendy when I've players better suited to the task.

Same, I'm keent o see if West ham sustain their title charge :)

I usually agree but I only play with one striker up front and between Jovatic, Sturridge and Origi, it feels irresponsible to play Mendy ahead of tall of them simply based on potential, rather than actual ability.

He's done really well with the chances I've given him but I need to not expect too much form him. Kid's still only 18 and he's still developing. I need to look long term with him.

That doesn't allows follow.

Personally, I always target players with a certain skill set for certain positions that doesn't always translate into the popular/ bigger name players. But they fit how I want to play and I've had decent success over the years without having a team packed out with the bigger names.

You get the right players to fit for you and manage savvy, you've a great leveller.

Haha, I know that feeling. It was reading other peopel stories that got me wanting to write my own. i still remember being glued to KLIPPYBO's FM10 story where he had an amazing regen: The legend that was Aitor Herrera :) )

Nah man, he's my biggest fan. He's getting me ready for the Real Madrid job since Rafa is destined to be sacked any day now. He's getting me used to everyone demanding super star signings :P

This was the huge league test this month. We needed to win to stand any chance in the league and
we got a sensational result! So proud of the boys after this game :)

I don't really have any complaints here. It was an absolute epic. Disappointed to loose but it could have
honestly gone any way. We were two very evenly matched teams and both grabbed extra-time goals.
It took the lottery of Penalties in the end.

We've done all we really could do. We've secured our form to not slip down the table but
Chelsea's games in hand mean they can afford to loose two games of their final 4. It
feels like a bridge too far but we'll keep trying.

Even a 2nd place finish is a step in right direction mate! But West Ham though, Expect Butland to go from CL and PL challengers to West ham.... Really haha!!
