End of October

(EPL) Liverpool vs West Ham: 3-0 Cardozo(2), Sakho
Dominated the match throughout the full game. 66% ball possession =) A pity that Torres didnt score..

LiverpoolvsWestHam1.jpg

(EPL) Bolton vs Liverpool: 1-3 Veloso(2), OG
Veloso stunning strike from long ranges, was delighted with what he did. Torres did not score again, becoming worrying for me =/

BoltonvsLiverpool2.jpg

(ECC) Benfica vs Liverpool: 2-3 Torres, Barrientos, Jovetic
I knew it wasnt going to be easy, but i didnt know it was going to be that hard! Benfica gave us a hard time but we finally manage to come away with a 1 goal lead win. I hope Torres can start scoring goals again.

Benficavsliverpool3.jpg

(EPL) Newcastle vs Liverpool: 0-2 Torres(2)
Weeeeeeeee! Scored two even thought we are playing poorly. All thanks to Torres! He is the kind of player that can turn the game around =)

NewcastlevsLiverpool4.jpg

(League Cup) Portsmouth vs Liverpool: 0-1 Cardozo

Rested lots of players as the next match is EPL match against Bolton in two days time. Still, my players were not performing as expected and win with just a goal. Well, they were probably tired, I understand =D

portsmouthvsliverpool5.jpg

(EPL) Liverpool vs Blackburn: 4-0 Veloso, Carra, Cardozo, Jovetic
We gave Blackburn lots of headache, they cant handle the pressure at Anfield. Great great great performance by them. We managed to keep clean sheet once again.

Thoughts: Please with this month performance. Was tiring month for my sons as they only have 2 or 3 days rest in between, fitness level is only around 93-94%. Guess i really do need one more player in the midfield. Masch has been too agressive lately collecting cards here and there. Looking at the league stats, Liverpool has really performed well in terms of offensive as well as defensive conceding only 5 goals out of 12matches =D Confidance is high right now and we really felt that this season will be ours once again!

great month kiu m8 by the way how good are jay spearing and adam pepper in your game

Your running away with the league already, Carragher seems to be still doing it at the top level, you haven't played many of the bigger teams in the league yet so that will be a tough test for you

jay spearing not good enough to enter 1st team...
adam pepper currently on loan (hope he can be better)
looking right winger age not more than 23...
jesus navas is too expensive... (H) i don't wanna spending too much money on one player...
any idea?

---------- Post added at 03:20 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:14 PM ----------

torres was crazy on season 3...
apps 32(2) goals 40
league apps 23 goals 30
continental 8 doals 7
international 5 goals 5
currently top goal scorer in BPL best performance AvR 7.77 :O

Yeah jack, Carra is doing fine just that he is slow though =P My upcoming fixtures will be against bigger clubs this time. Would like to see for myself how well will i do.

if you want cheap, Radja Nainggolan, 4m should be able to get him. better version of Benayoun imo.

torres end up with player of the year, golden ball winner (37 goals in BPL)
amazing season for him...best european player too... (H)

it's true...ignore your assistant...they're morron :P
believe in they're performance :P

well i did ignore him but i got sammy lee as an assistant and he is quite good actually even got him for england as well since i manage england too:D... and well i usually don't sell players they tell me to sell...

you still got sammy lee? ive got hans backe and I have mde his rep world class and he was only national when i got him!!!

Argh suppose to be a good update but yesterday after spending 1hour doing the update, the server was down for awhile when i tried to post reply. Lost motivation redo the update so i will just do a summary of update =/

ArsenalvsLiverpool5.jpg

Conclusion: Pretty please with the results! Arsenal was really tough to beat, could have been a draw but Veloso got lucky with the strike. We maintained our winning streak!! =D Another match that i was pleased with is obviously the Chelsea match where we beat them 2-0. Torres form is coming back and i hope his hunger for goals will continue to grow even more

LiverpoolvsAmericaMEX10.jpg

Conclusion: We manage to keep clean sheets for consecutive 4 matches! Im am really please with their performance despite resting Torres for several games. Players having 2-3days of rest which is very tough for them, hope they can regain their full fitness for important matches and especially for EPL. My winning streak continues~
clip_image012.gif
Planning to get 1 or 2 more players in the coming Jan so that I can rest more of my players more. Already promoted two of my youth to play in the league cups as a opportunity to rest them. I am getting worried with their fitness level for next match. ****! Something to be delighted with, Liverpool scored 55goals conceding only 7goals in 21games. Absolutely proud of them! Champion are always the Champion!

Will be uploading the league standing in the next post. :)

LiverpoolvsBolton14.jpg

(League Cup) Liverpool vs Wolves: 3-0 Torres, Jovetic, OG

Thoughts: Once again, we played like real contenders (H) Even though Gerrard is out for 3weeks, we are still coping well overall. Players supporting each other showing great understanding between them. I am really pleased with the results! I am really pleased with the league position at the moment. Sitting ultra comfortable at the top. Can i continue my winning streak? I hope so =D Torres has been out for 2-3weeks. In the end i got Soldado(ST) and Stock Marcel(GK). They should be a good addition to my squad offering the extra edge needed =)

Player of the first half season
Yoann Gourcuff
Has been fantastic this first half! Glad that i got him! 24 apps 11goals 18assists. Scoring goals when we need the most! Keep going son!
yoann_gourcuff_bellatre_du_foot_ref.jpg

well i guess i need to change my assistant don't you think:D:d
and omg i got a great budget for fourth season can't think who to buy tho:D:D i guess the takeover worked really well:D:D and well i need new english players i sold insua and ansaldi and carra is retired now so i guess i need some new players ... thinking about selling cassano too to give young more space him and silva...

Hey mahmoud, try Ezio Sella.. My current assistant manager, you wont regret getting him =D You could get Joe Mattock or Kyle Naughton(sp). Good as a backup, joe mattock is as good as Insua or slightly better than him. You should try Jack Rodwell, he makes a good CM. You have takeover on the 4th season? that is awesome! How much did you get for transfer budget?

gourcuff's looking very good indeed. if only my birmingham could afford him:'(

anyway, glad to see you doing so well and im sure you'll remain unbeaten, though i would love to see the table. :D
