Our record is slowly improving against City neavie pops23 so hopefully we can continue that but it will be tough to knock them.
Thanks Tracz there is definitely room for a couple more trophies this season. Was superb to beat a side like Barca.
____________________________________________________________________ London City FC - April 2037

We head into April, the penultimate month of the year with us sitting in all competitions remaining still, we're top of the Premier League, in the FA Cup Semi Final and in the Champions League Quarter Finals where we'll face Reading and Manchester City respectively. Those games are played in April, all together we face seven matches throughout the month and our main aim is keeping our sights set on that league title, its a close, tight run in though.

Again its not a bad month really, with five wins and two defeats throughout the month and progression in both cup competitions some how. The month started with a comfortable two nil win over Wolves with goals from Fofana and Guest in the Second half securing the points. As we welcomed Manchester Unite we slipped to a three nil defeat in the league before losing two nil against the other side of Manchester, City, losing two nil away from home in the Champions League Quarter Final First Leg. Back to League action we traveled to Anfield and beat Liverpool three one, as Dunn, Landzaar and Arregui all netted for us. And this boosted us for the Second Leg of the Champions League Quarter Final as we beat Manchester City four nil to turn the tie. Guest, Landzaat, Bird and Arregui all on target as we ran riot in this win. We recorded back to back four nil wins as well when we went to Wembley and beat Reading in the FA Cup Semi Finals. Guest netted for a second game running, Hoppe and Bernier were also on target whilst Arregui netted for a third game in a row. And Guest went on to make it three goals in three games as we welcomed Stoke to end the month and win two one, Landzaat netting the winner twelve minutes from time.

Another month passes and we're still top of the league but now opening up a gap as we close in to the end of the season. Thirty four games played and we're top by a point, but also got a game in hand so could move four points clear now. Spurs look set to secure the fourth and final Champions League spot however Reading aren't backing down just yet sitting in fifth. Liverpool could miss out on a top ten finish again this year as they're really going backwards.

From one English club to another, from one Manchester club to another. After knocking Manchester City out the Champions League in the Quarter Final, we'll now face Manchester United in the Semi Final. It'll be a tough tie thats for sure, even more so with the first leg being at home instead of being able to rely on it in the second leg.

We're set for another head to head with Manchester City again this season as well. We will meet them for the seventh time this season when we play the final game of the season in the FA Cup Final against the blue side of Manchester. We've definitely narrowed things up with our head to head record with them so its sure to be a tight affair as we try and defend another title.
Next Update: London City FC - May 2037
____________________________________________________________________ London City FC - May 2037

Here we go then, season twenty one is coming to an end with our final month right here. And going into May we were still on to scoop all five trophies this season if we could hold our nerve in May. Having already scooped the Community Shield and the EFL Cup, both victories against Manchester City, we move on now to the league title with four league games remaining, the FA Cup Final, again against Manchester City whilst we had a double header against the red side of Manchester, United, in the Champions League Semi Final this month, it was all going on...

Capitulated! I don't know what happened, the final month saw us win just one of our six matches that you can see the results go and that was away at Manchester City where we started the month. Arregui had given us the lead before the host leveled. We went on to win the game in the final few minutes though as Landzaat netted the winner. We welcomed Manchester United and lost one nil in the Semi Final first leg. Brentford then beat us two one away from home. We trailed two nil before Fofana gave us a bit of hope which was short lived. Back to Champions League action, we took the trip to Manchester United already trailing one nil, and there was no Final for us again this year. They beat us three nil here and four nil on aggregate. Our form didn't really improve either as we faced two final Premier League games and failed to win, stretching the run to five without a win as we drew one all at home against Chelsea and then one all away at Huddersfield.

Despite our poor form in the final month we have done it! We have finally won the Premier League! Its taken twenty one seasons but we are CHAMPIONS OF ENGLAND! We won the league by two points in the end with Champions League finalist Manchester United finishing second. The blue side of Manchester finished in third a further three points behind before a gap really opened up to Spurs in fourth seven more points. Chelsea, Reading and West Ham all head to Europa League football net season. Everton won the Europa League this year so I think they are also in the Champions League next season.

Thats how you wrap the season up, a dominant showing over Manchester City in the FA Cup Final saw Nigel Guest net a brace in a two one victory to secure back to back FA Cup titles and our third in four years I believe. We're really moving forward as a club now and this victory shows it.
Next Update: London City FC - Pre Season Round Up 2036/2037
Get in mate!
Beauty of a season, and a great story.
Shame about the Champions league, but I'm sure you won't be too disappointed with just the quadruple!
Thanks a lot Tom26 its been such a fun story and another enjoyable season despite it being our 21st season I'm still loving it thats for sure. We will get our hands on a Champions League title soon.
____________________________________________________________________ London City FC - End Of Season Round Up 2036/2037

Once again, a quick recap of the season that has now past, season twenty one and we have finally scooped that Premier League title. I believe it is our sixth season in the Premier League and it means we have officially gone from the bottom playable tier to the top of the English leagues in twenty one seasons, every year finishing at least one place higher than the year before, what a stat that is. And so onto the round up, competitions, players and financial.

Victorious London City celebrate famous quadruple, the headline that most of the papers went with following our FA Cup success come the end of the season. It was definitely one to look back upon definitely. From the start we scooped the Community Shield in a head to head against Manchester City and that set the tone domestically for the season, beating them in the EFL Cup Final and the FA Cup Final as well. It was the other Manchester club, Man United, that knocked us out the Champions League in the Semi Final, they went on to win the competition too

All the player stats from another league season shown above. Three goalkeepers all who played this season following injuries to Grabovac and Wall saw us call up seventeen year old Parsons who made eight starts in the end. A fair few of our defenders scored three goals this year, there isn't one that scored more. Summer signing Landzaat had a very good season, playing the most games this year by nine games as he made sixty starts and one sub appearance, scoring fourteen and assisting eighteen, he was definitely a good purchase. Dunn, Briere and Andrews all had very good seasons in attacking roles too as we struggled to fit Hopewell in for his position. Youngsters Burton and Tagoe made a few appearances, the latter made twenty three sub appearances whilst Guest had another very good season at the front. The only player not to make a start this year was Webb who made four sub appearances.

Money, money, money! We were gifted almost forty million pounds for our Premier League finish and another thirteen million pounds or so for our Champions League run, plus Five million pounds per round we progressed I think so it has helped. This sees us now sitting on a bank balance of eighty nine million pounds. I've been given sixty two million of that for transfers this summer and we have two hundred and seventy five thousand pounds spare in the wages at this moment in time.

And finally the free spending board are going to continue that way, spending more money on upgrades to the club. The stadium is going to be expanded again but this time by just eight hundred and ninety five seats which will take us to a full capacity of twenty nine thousand eight hundred seats which I think is the maximum we are allowed to go if I remember correctly from when it was originally built. The youth facilities are also going up again of course, but we are unable to even ask for the training facilities to go up for some strange reason.
I'm now going to take a bit of time over the summer getting rid of the backroom staff and bringing in all new faces to try and get the best staff and coaches, some of these have been with us since day one or seasons five etc.
Next Update: London City FC - Pre Season Round Up 2037
It'll do this season neavie pops23 thats for sure! Won't be long till we win it.
____________________________________________________________________ London City FC - Pre Season Round Up 2037

From an end of season round up to a pre season round up as the summer comes and goes following us scooping four trophies last year, missing out on the Champions League trophy only. Maybe this year we could seal our first ever European trophy. However our main aim is to try and retain as many trophies as possible, especially the league title as we try and make our mark at the top of the English game last now.

Another eight places risen in the European clubs leaderboard sees us move from twenty ninth up to twenty first as we start to grow as a club in the world now. You can see we're ahead of the likes of Dortmund, Schalke and Bilbao, whilst just trailing the likes of West Ham and Juventus.

The rich list was a big surprise for us this year, I was surprised thats for sure, not sure where the money has come from but we've moved from fifteenth to sixth in the worlds club richlist. We only sit behind Man United, Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs and Real Madrid now as we've jumped the likes of Barcelona,PSG and Manchester City, we really are growing now.

A busy window where once again I mainly looked towards younger, English faces to build the squad for the future and for England rather than just focusing on the best players in the world. We bought in seven new faces all on permanent deals and spending fifty nine million pounds. Two free transfers as we raided players who were released in the summer. Spurs took out of favor Cliff Webb off our hands, valued at twelve million we got sixteen and a half million for him. Its good to see the club is now a side who loan players out too, with a few going to our parent clubs.

Here are all our new faces from the busy summer as always. The only players who are likely to play for us on a regular basis this season are centre back Espino who joined cheaply from Man City, potentially Akoli and former BMG attacking midfielder Wottrich. The rest of the faces will be attempted to go out on loan for the season to get first team action. Failing that they could feature in some of the easier cup matches for the season.

The main squad without some of the new, younger projects at the club, we're really looking like a team capable of winning multiple trophies now and we did just that last year and thats the aim again this year. Both our goalkeepers are top quality and will be used in a rotational system this year to keep them happy and progressing. And we're just as strong all over the pitch now.

The summer was very productive and definitely forward moving for us as we played seven friendlies, won six of those and drew just the one, that was the opening match of the summer. The only real challenging game we faced over the summer was Zenit who we dispatched three nil. Anyway at the end of the summer, we move into the Community Shield, our third appearance in the last four years.

This was a really special victory, we scooped our third Community Shield title in four years as we eased past Manchester United, four three in the seven goal thriller. The game was very even especially the attacking match stats. Guest started his season with a bang, putting us ahead twice in the first half with Rigby netting the equaliser for United. Sen then nodded home a corner to put us three one up at half time. Second half United came back, hart netted to make it three two before Akoli come off the bench to score and seal the win with eight minutes to go. United didn't give up, Doyle netted with four to go but we held on.
Next Update: London City FC - August 2037
Wow thanks darnho I can't imagine how long that took you! I appreciate it though
____________________________________________________________________ London City FC - August 2037

The first month of season twenty two is now completed as we have moved out the blocks. Obviously we had started it last update as we took a third Community Shield trophy in four seasons. We've now featured in three finals and won all three, starting to make that competition our own now. Four Premier League games awaited us in August to kick start the new season with a couple of tricky ties.

Following the win in the Community Shield over Manchester United, we faced four Premier League games and picked up three wins and a draw, annoyingly dropping points against Burnley. A home game to start the new season saw us welcome Arsenal and win three two. Arregui has got his season underway with a brace whilst Landzaat has scored his first of the season coming against his former side. We then faced two trips, first to QPR who we beat two one with guest giving us the lead before the host leveled, Briere then fired us to victory eleven minutes from time. Burnley then held us to a one all draw, Guest netting our only goal in the one all draw. Finally ending the month with a two nil win over Fulham at home, Sen and Guest netting inside sixteen minutes.

As always, the Premier League table is a little pointless at this stage of the season but as you can see its a strong start for Manchester City who win all four of their opening games. Chelsea join us with ten points from a possible twelve with us in third behind them on goal difference. Manchester United are also unbeaten as are ninth place Brentford at this early stage.

For once a Champions League group that I don't feel worried about! We face Spanish First Division side Villarreal, Croatian First Division side Dinamo and Belgian Pro League A side Club Brugge. For once I'm fully expecting us to not only qualify from this group, but top it with ease with any luck. We've qualified with ease the last two years when we've faced the likes of PSG, Juventus and Bayern. So should be okay here. And the Final is played at our former ground Wembley.
Next Update: London City FC - September 2037
____________________________________________________________________ London City FC - September 2037

We have started the season strongly yet again as we try to defend our first ever Premier League crown and secure it for a second season running. However we were held by Burnley last month to stop us making the perfect start to the season. This month would see our EFL Cup defence start as well as begin our Champions League group stage for the third year running, aiming to bypass our best ever Semi Final appearance the last two years. Three Premier League games await us as well

Another 'near perfect' month as we slip up to one draw again but maintain our unbeaten start to the league season with five more wins. A trip to Reading first saw us race into a two goal lead saw Arregui and Guest score in twelve minutes for us, we conceded one but held on strong. We then took a trip to Croatia where we beat Dinamo five two as all five goals for us came in the second half. An own goal and then one each for Arregui, Guest, Briere and Akoli secured a winning start to our Champions League season. A second game running where we scored five as we returned home from Croatia to beat Brentford five nil Briere, Guest (x2), Arregui and an own goal secured the big victory over them. We then welcomed Huddersfield in the EFL Cup Third Round, two second half goals from Guest then Landzaat put us easily in the Fourth Round. A trip to Southampton saw us draw one all following Guest early strike. We ended the month with Spanish side Vallarreal coming to us, we made it two wins from two in the Champions Leaue with Bernier and Akoli netting.

Top of the league after seven matches with Manchester United matching us stride for stride at this stage of the season. Manchester City are only a further point behind us too as it seems set to be another long season fight with both halves of Manchester. Arsenal and Liverpool are both struggling to get going again this season whilst Everton are struggling in the relegation zone early on.
Next Update: London City FC - October 2037
Great start to the season mate.
The club really has grown over the years, all we need now is to find a conveyor belt for that youth academy.
Surely it cant be much longer. Any chance of a ss of your staff? Training stars n that.
Whats the plan for your future? Make london city most decorated team in pl history? Plan to retire at london city?
Thanks Tracz its been another superb start to the league and cup campaigns thats for sure. Here is a link to the staff: Staff One, Staff Two, Staff Three, Staff Four, Training. As for the future, I think eventually turn London City into an all English club but definitely will retire with them.
____________________________________________________________________ London City FC - October 2037

Into October as I celebrate my forty sixth birthday now we had another busy month to compete with. Premier League, EFL Cup and Champions League football awaited us again this month. Its becoming a common thing for us to feature in these three competitions regularly now and I'm fully enjoying it as well. Its nice trying to be competitive not only in the league but in Europe as well.

Another unbeaten month, thats three in a row now as we are really setting a tone for the season shame we can't turn some of the draws into wins but we'll keep battling away. We beat West Ham at the start of October as a late birthday present as Hoppe netting the only goal of the game. A trip to Leicester saw us grab a late draw as Guest netted nine minutes form time to make it one a piece. A trip to Belgium saw us draw two all with Club Brugge, another two points dropped with Arregui and Guest netting for us. Three wins following though, first at home against Everton, four one as Akoi struck a brace with Arregui and Bird also on target. It required Extra Time but we are in the EFL Cup Quarter Finals as we beat Derby two one. Bird gave us the lead before the away side leveled. They went down to ten men however it still took an Arregui extra time goal to see us through. We end the month with a rout against Tottenham, winning the eight goal thriller five three, Guest, Bernier and Akoli on target in the first half for us, Wottrich with his first ever Premier League goal and Nieto both netted in the second half.

Eleven games played in the league this season and we're top by just two points still as not only us, but Manchester United also remain unbeaten at this stage of the season. It then opens up a further three point gap to third place Manchester City and a further point to Chelsea in fourth. We did Manchester United to begin to drop points soon.

Three games played, two games won and one drawn as we're also unbeaten in the Champions League to date as well. Villarreal are a point behind us and Club Brugge only a further two points behind them as its tight at this stage. I'm still expecting us to qualify from this group and in the top spot this season.
Next Update: London City FC - November 2037
____________________________________________________________________ London City FC - November 2037

We head into November, still unbeaten having played twenty this season and not losing any of those. We now move into another month which could finally see us toppled as we will face a hard game against Chelsea in the league this month. Six matches awaited us again this month and we would face it off in two different competitions once again with more European Champions League action and Premier League action awaiting again this month.

Make that unbeaten in twenty five this season! Yes thats right, we've gone a fourth month unbeaten this season and we seem almost unstoppable this year drawing just the one game again this month. We welcomed Belgian side Club Brugge and grabbed an easy three nil win, a double for Bird and a late one for Dunn wrapping up the win. It was the same scoreline against Watford at home, Arregui with a brace and Guest converting a spot kick. A trip to Huddersfield in our only away game in November saw us beat Huddersfield two one, coming back from behind with Tagoe and Bernier netting. Our fifth of six Champions League group games this season saw us welcome Dinamo and beat them three nil, a brace for Guest and a late goal for Akoli securing our third three nil win this month. Ending the season with a two all draw against Chelsea, taking the lead twice and blowing it twice.

We just can't shift Manchester United, they're on us like a bad smell, level on points with us but we do have a game in hand and are able to now move three points clear if we win it. They have finally tasted defeat, unlike us who are still pressing on for the unbeaten season however we have only played fourteen games so far this season. A long way to go but we keep on battling.

We're qualified and safe in the next round, now its a fight for the top spot between us and Villarreal in the final group game.
Next Update: London City FC - December 2037
____________________________________________________________________ London City FC - December 2037

We're still unbeaten in every single competition this season as we head into the wintery month of December. The month of festivities however there will be no relaxing for us, we'll continue to hunt for the unbeaten season in the Premier League and if possible, every competition going however we knew that'd be tough. Its fair to say December was a busy one, with eight games across four different competitions as we'd continue our EFL Cup and Champions League progress going as well as the Premier League matches. But for some strange reason the FA Cup Third Round would start in December this year.

EFL Cup progression, FA Cup progression and another win in the Champions League, unbeaten at the end of the calendar year for this 2036/307 season to date its unbelievable. Come the end of the month we're unbeaten in thirty three matches across all competitions. The month started with the EFL Cup Quarter Final where we beat Fulham two one, our goals coming from Bertolotti and Guest late on. Moving to league action we traveled to Manchester City and beat them two one through Arregui and Akoli. Over to Spain to beat Villarreal in our final Champions League group game, winning two one again, this time Guest and Akoli netting. We returned to England for two more away games on the bounce, beating Wolves three two and then Arsenal two one. Bernier, Arregui and Sen on target against Wolves whilst Guest hit a brace against Arsenal. Finally back at home we welcomed Manchester United and drew two all, fair result. Guest put us ahead before we trailed two one at the break. Arregui secured a point for us. We beat Liverpool at Anfield one nil and saved a penalty. Ending the month with that FA Cup Third Round tie against Crewe who we beat four two Bird, Sen and Akoli in the first half with Hopewell netting in the second forty five.

We've finally got the break away we've been seeking. We sit eight points clear at the top of the table and now have breathing space over Manchester City in second. Chelsea sit a further three points behind and have played two more matches whilst Manchester United in fourth have three games in hand on us and could move second whilst closing the gap to us to just three points again if they win all three of them.

We were already through our Champions League group before even facing Villarreal in Spain for the final group game. But we do qualify, unbeaten with sixteen points from a possible eighteen and taking the top spot which could be massive in the group draw. Villarreal qualify in second as expected whilst Club Brugge head into the Europa League knockout Rounds.

Gulp! Thats a tough draw for us but I'm not overly worried. We faced Bayern Munich before, twice in the group stage a couple seasons ago and we didn't lose to them, I believe we won both ties against them in fact so I'm hopeful we can progress again. As you can see on the left, all five English teams are still in the Champions League as well, could we see an all English Champions League? Could we beat the past two seasons and reach the Final instead of Semis?
Next Update: London City FC - January 2038
____________________________________________________________________ London City FC - January 2038

Happy New Year, happy 2038! We're still powering through the seasons, perhaps at a slightly lesser rate than originally but we're still plugging away with this save. We've gone into January on a long unbeaten run and aim to come out the otherside still going. We did have a massive nine game month with Premier League, EFL Cup and FA Cup action as we seeked to continue advancing in all competitions, a quiet transfer window passed too.

This is our only transfer that happened throughout the summer. Paul Hopewell joined us two seasons ago from Southampton for just ten million pounds. He was naturally a winger but with VPs tactic not playing attacking wingers I tried to convert him into a CAM role, annoyingly it didn't pay off. I still managed to make a good profit on him though, selling for an initial thirty two and a half million pounds with another seven and a half million in add ons.

The unbeaten run continues, forty two matches unbeaten now in all competitions whilst also mounting an eleven game straight winning run needing just one more win to set another new club record. We started the season on New Years day beating QPR at home with goals from Akoli, Hopewell, Wottrich and Sen. Back to back home games and clean sheets as we beat Middlesbrough three nil, Guest, Fofana and Andrews netting this time around. As we welcomed Burnley we hit our fourth win on the bounce with a narrow three two win. Hope, Akoli and Bernier netting as we were three up in the first half. The EFL Cup Semi Final saw us beat West Ham three one in the First Leg before we welcomed Reading and won four nil. The goals and wins just kepy coming as well. Two away games saw us beat Fulham three nil and then Brentford two one. The EFL Cup Semi Final Second Leg saw us welcome West Ham to secure our spot in a third EFL Cup Final in a row, winning four two as Akoli netted a brace, Guest had one and an own goal. Ending the month with a comfortable win over Bristol Rovers in the FA Cup Fourth Round, Nieto, Burton and Akoli netting with a slightly rotated side.

The gap is now finally beginning to open and we're moving clear now. We're ten points clear of Manchester United in second place they do have a game in hand but even if they win it we'll still be seven points clear which is looking good again this year for us. Manchester City and eighteen points behind us in third so I'm confident of a top two finish this year.

Confirmation of our forty two game unbeaten run. And as I stated, we're also on an eleven game winning run.
Next Update: London City FC - February 2038
Thanks Shedender its been a sensational season to date.
____________________________________________________________________ London City FC - February 2038

Into February and still on for a clean sweep of all five trophies this season and the form we're currently in, would anyone bet against us at this stage. Unbeaten in over forty matches now we seeked to extend it to fifty plus if we could have another good month. We faced just two Premier League games this month whilst seeing one FA Cup match, one Champions League match and our third EFL Cup Final in a row to end the month.

Remaining unbeaten, well up to the final game of the month at least as the EFL Cup Final result will be revealed at the bottom of this post. A couple draws slipping into our game but we keep fighting. We welcomed and beat Southampton at the start of February and won three one. Akoli netting in the first half with it one all at half time. Landzaat and Bernier netted to secure the win. A topsy turvey game saw us narrowly hold our own and take a point against London Rivals West Ham in an eight goal thriller, drawing four all. Wottrich, Fofana, Arregui and Andrews all netting for us. The FA Cup wasn't providing any competition at this stage either with a comfortable four nil win at home against Everton. Akoli netting again, whilst Bernier, Fofana and Guest from the spot rounded up that victory. The First Knockout Round of the Champions League saw us draw one all against Bayern Munich. Akoli had given us the lead in Germany, all set for a big second leg at home.

We are looking set for a second Premier League title and a second one in concession as we stay top of the pile, still unbeaten after twenty seventh matches. Just eleven matches to go this season, the lowest we can now finish is eighth whilst Manchester United are still applying some pressure on us just eight points behind in second place. Manchester City look to have secured a top three finish, seven points behind United in second but ten points clear of Spurs in fourth. Liverpool are just eight points above the drop zone at the bottom end of the table.

What a game! What a win! Probably my favorite Cup Final to date, I thought we had lost it not once, not twice, but three times as we fell behind three times throughout the match at Wembley. Juliano gave Arsenal the host after just ten minutes but we leveled through Fofana in the twenty third minute. A minute of madness then followed, Hammond gave Arsenal the lead late in the thirty fifth minute, we took kick off went up the other end and leveled immediately with Arregui. The game stayed that way and went into Extra Time. There Arsenal took the lead for the third time of the day when Juliano netted his second for the red side of London. But we never gave us Andrews netted in injury time of the first half of extra time to force a penalty shootout. It was a dreadful shootout to, just two penalties were converted which were both ours as Wall saved two penalties and two hit the woodwork, securing our third EFL Cup on the bounce.

Just three months remaining this season and we're still in the hunt to scoop all five trophies this season. It'd be some season if we could do the clean sheet this year, after scooping all four domestic trophies last year around. The Champions League is the only one missing from our trophy cabinet to date. We had the youth intake this month and on top of that faced three more Premier League games as well as the FA Cup Sixth Round and the Second leg of the Champions League First Knockout Round against Bayern Munich.

It would seem our youth intake is beginning to improve and despite not being superb still, the best player to come through the academy for some years now is Warren McCarthy. I don't think he'll make it to the Premier League but we will see.

Dammit! We were finally beaten this season, fifty one games unbeaten in all competitions from 17th May 2037 to 17th March 2038. The following game saw us finally lose against Watford. A strong three nil win at home against Leicester saw us start the month strongly. Wottrich and a brace from Akoli saw us start well. We then traveled to Everton where we beat them two one, came back from behind late on with Akoli and Arregui netting. We've advance to the FA Cup Semi Final when we beat Middlesbrough at home in the Sixth Round. Kabongo getting a rare goal with Arregui striking again. And then into Champions League action with us welcoming German giants Bayern Munich. We beat them three one, a confident showing saw us three nil up at the break with Akoli, Landzaat and Arregui on target. Our first defeat since May 2037 saw Watford take all three points from us. We lost three two, taking the lead twice but couldn't hold on. Ending the month with the Champions League Quarter Final where we blew a two goal lead in Spain against Barcelona, drawing two all.

Its tightening up at the top of the table as Manchester United close the gap to just five points now with eight league games remaining. They're on a strong season themselves losing just two matches all season. Its looking solid that a top two finish is the case this year, we surely can't blow our strong start now to lose the top spot.
