******* ****, the incompetence at the top of our game has reached new heights. so sick of this bollocks

He has just resigned as chairman of Englands World Cup bid, damage has already been done though. :(

Yeah i'm watching this all know on Sky Sports News. Like JP said damage has been done.
:(

Same old British press. yes Triesman has done wrong but surely the Daily Mail could have seen this was going to destroy our chances of getting the World Cup. Triesman has ****** me off but the Daily Mail knew what they were doing, knew the consequences yet still go ahead.

He better hope i don't bump into him in the street XD

****!

once again the daily mate does the damage on our sports. did it to sven, tried to do it against 2012. may have just done it for 2018. then again im not suprised by a paper who historically supported the ****'s right up until they started bombing the country

Leave Triesman alone he made his mistake done and dusted with that but we should start a hate campaign against the media they always seem to be the culprate to our problems in sport JT, Sven, 2018 bid, what else?

Completely agree with:

'So how much did the Russians pay the MoS to run the story? And Triesman stays as Chairman of the FA. You lose, England loses, Triesman and the Russians win.

It's not even news. The Spanish, Italians and Russians have been match fixing for years. Not much of a journalist if you've only just noticed.

and

'Well done the Mail on Sunday, I hope the FA ,and football supporters association, and all the cities that were going to host matches, and all the businesses that would have benefited from world cup 2018, SUE YOU OUT OF EXISTENCE.
- Dave Peckham, Wembley'

oh and

'Its not always as easy as it is with this article to say that the M on S has got it absolutely wrong in its determination to sell an extra copy when set against the aspirations of the vast majority who would have had the experience of a lifetime in being able to watch the biggest competition in the world in their own country. I think you should publish the name of the commissioning editor for this expose and allow them to defend in print their justification for turning a silly mans private conversations into a public embarassment for our (even the M. on S's) country
