Maicon vs Alves

brazil have a nack of producing attacking fullbacks , roberto carlos and cafu were all wingers when they were young but brazil seem to conjure them to play defence. so it is for maicon and alves and even marcelo and bastos .

RB : Maicon>Alves LB : Marcelo>Alves>Bastos.

Dunga seems to like most Maicon. I prefer Alves.

Alves gets praised for his attacking capabilities but when he's in the final third his crossing is terrible at times. He seems to think he's good at free kicks but whenever I've seen him take them they've gone high and wide.

Also defensively he is a bit suspect so I'd have Maicon over him any day.

Dani Alves is more entusiastic about attacking although is defence sometimes drops,I'd pick Maicon any day as he has similar attacking capabilities and is good,powerful at the back
