I never said anything about realism.

I find it hard to believe that Willian was willing to move on in the first transfer window having just signed for Chelsea, I'd love to see a screenshot.
 
Essentially, what mersk means to say is that prices hardly vary for the first transfer window. The first window is mostly predetermined, and any offers that AI clubs make to buy players are also pretty much the same, if not similar, since there is no form or anything of the sort to take into consideration.. They may make offers for different players, but the amounts that they offer *should* generally be the same..

The offers you make can vary for a player. I got Draxler to submit a transfer request [by praising him, and making multiple offers for him] in the first transfer window, thus dropping his price massively.

He wasn't willing to, had to keep him. No takers even for 15M, too many AMs at Chelsea, it's hard to give them all sufficient playing time especially when the likes of Hazard and Mata fix their positions in squad by playing very very well. He had "Feels he was brought under false pretenses" status :P But he didn't complain at all as he was the one who got least playing time. I've only managed to sell him in first season only once, I don't have a screenshot from that save, it's long gone. Real madrid was willing to pay 25M, no other teams were interested though. Maybe they suffered an injury and needed new player? (wild guess)

Yeah I kinda assumed it would be difficult to sell him in the first window. Speaking of Willian, he had a monster season last year for Chelsea in my save. Top scorer in the league:

Did you play him as Shadow striker or F9 in striker position? Because it's unlikely that a playmaker will get that many goals and how's Schurrle doing for you? He's been bad for me.

Well, I sold Cleverley for 36M to PSG, but that was in 2014/2015 season.
 
Well this all came off the point that even selling Cleverly for that money the rest is still terrible business!!!

Haha, you have a good point.

17.5M for Lewandowski is a joke. You can get him for free when the contracts is out. (If you want to wait so long).
22.5M for Luke Shaw is too expensive and Marco Verratti was also too expensive. You can get him for much less money as PSG is going killing spree on the transfer market.

Also I think you sold some of the players too cheap.

I got like 40M for Hern?ndez and after he had an alright season. 22.5M is too cheap because he's a solid poacher. (I also sold Welbeck for 48M same season :P). Aaaaaaand why did you sell Rafael? Maybe the best right back on FM, for ONLY 34.5M.

These deals were just bad, mate.

I'm tempted to sell cleverly when I get home after the prices you boys are getting! No brainer! & no chance sell Rafael. Best right back in the game. He's overrated in FM! Great reason to hang on to him! & don't understand when guys pay over in flated prices to land targets! Paid ?9 million for Andros Townsend, ?11 million Leighton Baines, ?10 million Ravel Morrsion. Wouldn't catch me blowing ?25-30 million on a average player

I can't get Shaw for cheap at start because he signed new contract, they demand over 27.5M, Prowse is available for ~12.5M in first season, though.
 
Not when the offer is in though? the second screen shot shows a few bids and only one player :)
 
I think everyone should try to at least get Pogba for United. He turns into 5 star in the 2nd season and can get him for around 30million.

I just made an offer for Prowse with my Chelsea squad in my first season and they wanted over $50m

I have him coming in January in my Chelsea save first season for 15M, scouted him after said he was available for around 1M less xD Van Ginkel is AM, In reality he's a B2B but can also play as DM, SI should've really changed this, ended up selling him as you already know how many AMs Chelsea have. Couldn't get shaw for upto 25M, And I was never gonna pay more than 20M too, Cole has started declining and Bertrand isn't all that good. Although now Shaw's gone, 6 month injury, will probably return with 2-3 stars.

Edit: ah, you're using USD as your currency, I'm using GBP. 15M GBP is roughly $24M

I've sold cleverly got 30 mill to psg. he turns out pretty good in 2 years time though lol, getting rid of rafael however is a terrible terrible choice, he is the best RB hands down, a real game changer for me.

I don't know why everyone thinks he's cheating.. just start up a new save, offer up the players for that price and check if the prices match.
