King keeps big name striker promise:
Max King has already kept one of his few promises towards Fulham fans, by completing the £8m signing of Andre Pierre Gignac from French side Toulouse. Gignac had been linked with teams like Sunderland & Manchester City, but no bids or enquiries were made by the two teams, leaving the door wide open for Fulham to ****** Gignac from under their noses. King was quoted about his new signing saying - "I'm over the moon with this signing. When your new at a club with little experience, the first thing you need to do is to get the fans and players on your side, and get morale up around the whole football club, and this is what the signing of Gignac will do. He's technically fantastic, he can shoot from miles out, he's great in the air, and most of all he's clinical upfront, he's got everything about him to make him one of the best in the league".

Fulham in loan deal trauma:
Fulham have now failed in two loan bids for two players, with Athletico Madrid rejecting loan bids from Fulham, saying they aren't prepared to loan him out, and David N'Gog rejecting a season long loan deal from Fulham, saying there is too much competition for his position there. It is doubtful Max King will look for anymore loan deals, although with midfielder Andranik possibly leaving for £3m to either Sunderland or Dinamo Kiev, Fulham may have some cash to splash.
