Hey, well since the last update I've got quite far and have ended up at the 38 game mark and have finished the season I finished in a highly regarded 5th position, but by 1 goal difference above of 6th place Arsenal. I felt sorry for Arsenal, after they drew their last game of the season, whilst I took the 5th spot beating Wigan away 3-2.
Form wise we've really dropped lately, but we had a bad injury to McGeady for 2 months, Young had been getting injured a lot and missing 1 or 2 key games, and Gignac had lost his sharp eye for goal, and if it wasn't for players like Schwarzer, Van Der Vaart & Dempsey that pulled through when we needed them too, I'm fairly confident we would of finished 7th.
So, competitions wise..
Premier League:
As I said, we finished 5th and got a healthy £16m for finishing there aswell. If we can bring in the right players in the summer, we can challenge for 4th, but this year the gap was far too big, with Jermain Defoe ripping up the Prem with Tottenham with 27 goals and being named the top goalscorer in the league. Liverpool won the league by 2 points, with Steven Gerrard getting an astonishing 24 assists, and Torres getting 20 goals, two key players performing fantastic for them.
So, aims for next season in this competition..
Challenge for 4th position.
Concede less goals
Score a bit more
Beat smaller teams more often!

FA Cup:
Not such a bad performance in this competition, we got to the 5th round, and faced extremely tough competition in Manchester United, and we were knocked out by the big guns. Maybe if we have a bigger squad next season, we can put a bit more effort into this.

Get to the Quarter Finals
Try not to have any replays or extra time games to save energy
English League Cup:
We actually did really well in this and got to the semi-finals, but sadly lost out to Tottenham who went on to win the competition beating Liverpool in the final. The same as the FA Cup really, if we have a bigger squad we can concentrate more on this and try and get my first cup at the club.

Get to the Semi-Finals again and challenge for a place in the final
Avoid extra time games to save energy
Europa League:
Well, I wasn't too disappointed with this, after all, we beat Ajax but then consequently went out next round to Werder Bremen, with them out playing us in both ties. To get to the quarter finals is a great achievement for us in this competition and we should stride to improve on this next season.

Try and get a 100% record in the Group Stages
Season Summary:
Overall I'm delighted ^^) We got to the 5th round of the FA Cup, the Semi-Finals of the League Cup, the Quarter-Finals of the Europa League and even finished 5th in the league I'm sure if we hadn't of dramatically dropped form at the end we could of given Tottenham a run for their money in 4th spot which they finished in with no real bother to be honest. We do need more depth, especially on the wings, we are short of players there. Diomansy Kamara returns from his loan at Celtic next season, and I'll certainly have a look at him to see if he's good enough, and if not, he can be sold for transfer funds. Chris Smalling leaves in the summer to join United for £10m which gives some great money to the club there, although it's sad to see a great prospect like that leave really. Next season I'm fairly confident with more consistent performance we can break the top four or atleast finish 5th again, we just need to bring in the right players.
