Nope we've got about £12m in the bank balance now after the end of the season :D

Well done. I'm glad to see the bank balance nice and healthy again. With your new funds you should be in a good position in the next year with Europe money and all to push even higher; champions league?

If I'm honest I'd be happy with another season in top half or just mid table, my main aim at the moment is to just secure the clubs future. Anything better than that for now is a bonus :) But yeah a lot of cash coming my way if I get far in Europe :D

Great news Mate :) Could you post of budget when you get it?

Yeah post your finance summary please. Finances are my favourite part of the game. More than tactics or results. I could just be the technical director at a club where a technical director buys the players or I could be a chairman and sort out finances. Would be a great job.

All you need is a football club to buy now ;) Gotta agree though my favourite bit is the transfer windows.

those loan signings are very sexy mate, i love obodo as he has the best surname, im sure you will secure that top 7 europa spot, good luck!!! hope it doesnt ******* crash like yer other one, and sorry for not accepting your fifa invite earlier, i was away and i saw it like 2 minutes earlier but it wouldnt work :(

Max try and get Enke(rip) and Burdisso on a free they were class on my Fulham save. James is getting on abit and Kaboul is your only defender that can go a long way

Yep well I agreed to sign Burdisso on a free a while back (I think in February) so you caught me out :P And yeah I'm aiming for a few free players. Haven't got far enough to find out my budget yet but here are my finances and the last 3 results :D

Portsmouth 1-2 West Ham (Boateng):
Very disappointed a we deserved more from this. Once again one of those games where we didn't take our chances and should of done better. Good goal from Boateng but not enough to win us the game, fair play to West Ham though and this might keep them up.

Sunderland 1-2 Portsmouth (Dindane, Boateng):
Great result :D Good to see Dindane get a goal who hasn't been the most prolific this season, but once again Boateng scores ^^) We went 2-0 up at the end of the match in quick succession, but Jones got a goal back for Sunderland but it wasn't enough and we walked away with 3 points (H)

Liverpool 3-2 Portsmouth (Piquionne, Diop):
Liverpool never deserved this :@ We had far more many shots on goal than them and they had about 5 :( Great performance by the lads, even in defence even though we conceded 3, it was a good performance and good end to a great season :)

Awards:

Player of the season!:
3rd - Younes Kaboul - An absolute rock at the back and averaged a rating of 7.20 all season :D
2nd -Papa Bouba Diop - Supposebly a ball winning midfield, but got 8 goals, brilliant :D
1st - K.P.Boateng - Fantastic player. Scored 13 goals and was our top score, superb ^^)

Best result of the season:
Portsmouth 2-0 Man City 15/03/2010 - Amazing result which got us really going this season :)

Worst result of the season:
Wolves 3-0 Portsmouth 20/03/2010 - Awful performance but hopefully this won't happen again.

Most entertaining game of the season:
Portsmouth 2-2 Arsenal 20/02/2010 - The 2nd half was brilliant with a last minute equaliser :D

Most boring game of the season:
Stoke 0-1 Portsmouth 10/04/2010 - Snooze fest, I think I went to get a drink mid way <)

Final league position:
7th - Amazing :D

Season Summary:
Well, I had never dreamed of even a top half finish, nevermind Europe :D Of course we haven't certainly qualified yet, United (1stplace) need to beat Arsenal (5th place) in the FA Cup final, then I think we're qualified :) Next season as I've said, I'd be happy with another season consolidating and bringing in cash and being a selling club for another year, just not selling Kaboul, Diop or Boateng <)

Here are the screenshots of everything (H) Cheers for following this season

EDIT: May I add that I got £14m for prize money for finishing 7th :)

Max you did brill and i hope that the next season goes even better

Cheers Louis.

Now this is what kind of annoys me :@ I do all that work to get the finances up and the board goes and blows it all on 6000 seats that probably won't make a difference :@ Ah well, no spending for me.

Unlcuky mat.....I'm sure when you come in the top 4 this season you'll get much more money

Unlucky Max, I am sure you'll find some cash from somewhere. :)

Haha, you need good financial backing to get in the top four mate, can't just rely on man management and tactical knowledge :)

No you don't, I mean since when has Liverpool ever got money :'(. Stupid American guys. and good luck next season, I reckon you'll get 5th-3rd place. Is Deco on a free?

Cheers mate and erm, yeah Deco is available to "approach to sign" at the moment and same for Ballack. They say both not interested but we'll see :P

Look at Deco, and Boa Morte mate. They always play class for me at Newcastle. If you get any money and Sapara hasn't been signed I recommend taking a look at him as well. :)

Sapara is decent :) Got him in my newcastle save...Good luck, Max. And I agree with pwang - you don't need money for top 4 :) Maybe some luck ;)

Done briliant Max. Great league performance and sorted out the finances :) Shame about the stadium thing though.

Sorry to go off topic but Liverpool spent about 35M + on 2 players this season alone.

King makes big moves:
Portsmouth caretaker manager Max King has offered contracts to Deco and Michael Ballack of Chelsea, and also Louis Saha and Aruna Dindane from respective clubs. King is also thought to be weighing up the option of making Hassan Yedba's deal permanent for £3m, Yebda impressed last season and it looks like King will secure a deal for the Algerian.
