I'll be reading this as always. I may not comment much but I am following. Good luck Max.

Good luck Max
Will be starting my own LLM story soon, so i'll keep an eye on yours for some good tips:P
Cheers mate :) And aha, good luck with your story, I'll be following :) One tip is play 4-4-2, keep it simple, play direct and go aggressive in the tackle, also have a goalscorer upfront (Brodie for me) and a deep lying playmaker in midifield (Lawless for me, and he's only got 10 passing aswell :O), if you have both of them with good finishing and passing you'll do well :D

Cheers mate :)

Best of luck Max. Will your FM skills stretch as low as York? Chances are they will. :D As I said, good luck and I'll keep with this story.

good luck with this Max, but come on, another story ;), you'll have more than Louis H and Joe put together

Wow! 3 pages and you've only done 2 updates, impressive. I prefer top league stories so I don't think I will follow this story. Good Luck anyway.

unlucky on the corrupted save. was follwing closely. :'(

good luck on this. do enable autosave this time (A)

He will get to the Prem in less than 5 seasons with his managerial skill.......watch this space!!

At least he keeps them going for at least a season (West Ham an exception).

And Max, what tactics are you using? I will try and put together a list of good players on word for you to sign ;)

Lol, like Paul said, they all get pretty far apart from West Ham where it was just being a ****** tbh.

Cheers mate, shame you're not following.

& I'm using my defensive tactics :) August update soon.

First off, I hope you don't mind Pompey_Dan, but I've taken a few tips from your layout, as it's pretty sexy tbh. If you don't want me to use it, I don't mind :)

York vs Eastbourne Bourough

A good win for us here against Eastbourne after going 1-0 down early on with Jamie Taylor scoring for them on 57 minutes, but we responded just 8 minutes later with Alex Lawless scoring from the penalty spot to put us level in a game we should of been ahead in already. Come of the hour (and a bit) and come of the man, Richard Brodie found space in the box to smash home a late winner for us on the 83rd minute after George Abbey's cross connected with the boot of Brodie on the edge of the box to give us a great win.

We were extremely unlucky not to win the game, with AFC Wimbledon equalising in the last minute to ****** a point in a game we probably only deserved a point from, even though we had the majority of possession, we didn't create as much chances as we should of. Another goal from Brodie got his tally up to 2 goals in 2 games.

Another 1-1 draw which this time we certainly deserved nothing from. It was 0-0 until 85th minute with it looking like we'd lost what we had in the last minute to a late goal from Fred Murray for Luton, but just 2 minutes later new signing Shaun Saiko picked up the ball 40 yards out and attempted an audacious chip which lobbed the keeper and equalised for us to send me and the away fans absolutely mad :D

A fantastic away win for us which was deserved after 54% possession and the majority of shots on goal in a boring game if not for the clinical finishing of Brodie who got himself two goals, and Wolves loan signing Daniel Jones. Great win and hopefully we can keep it up.

York vs Cambridge

Superb win for us in a 5-0 thrashing of promotion candidates Cambridge, who couldn't handle our direct countering approach to the game that set Brodie through on goal around 4 times, with him consequently grabbing himself a hat trick :) Fantastic win and this could be a turning point in the season.

Wrexham vs York

« - Alex Lawless 8.1

We were unlucky not to win in a game we had 64% possession in, but we just couldn't put away our chances, and lacked a bit of a creative spark to get us going at times. Lawless was brilliant in midfield, he won every 50-50 tackle even though it's not really his job to, and played some great balls through to Brodie and Gash, and also grabbed himself a goal from the penalty spot :) Good result.

League Table..

We sit in 3rd but it's far to early to say we'll finish anywhere near that position at the moment as it's so early on with many teams close to us on points. Hopefully we can stay unbeaten for even longer and stay where we are in the table to reach the play offs :D

It's ok, honoured to help in such a great story.

look at scottish/welsh reserve teams, some cheap **** good players there. good story so far will follow;)

If you ever lack firepower up front with injuries or whatever, Jamil Adam from Barnsley literally cannot be stopped from scoring in this league. I consider him a cheat to winning BSP :P
