If you ever lack firepower up front with injuries or whatever, Jamil Adam from Barnsley literally cannot be stopped from scoring in this league. I consider him a cheat to winning BSP

for me on FM09 and i arent far into my york save but he will be a great player on FM10 im sure

A good solid performance by the lads, and Richard Brodie was once again clinical scoring 2 goals and securing a valuable 3 points for us to keep us up in the play off spots.​

Not such a bad result, but we should of won looking back at how much we dominated. We just need that bit of finishing touch up there a bit more sometimes, as Brodie can't do it all on his own. Good point nevertheless.

Great 2-0 win over an in-form Ebbsfleet team who were in 8th before this game. Daniel Jones was quality on the wing, assisting for Brodie's goal and giving their right back a horrible game, and also grabbing a goal for himself. Good team performance :)


Kidderminster vs York

A good 0-0 result for us against a team who pretty much raped us all game really. We had 3 shots at goal, with only 1 being on target, so we certainly were not at our best for this game. Good defensive performance by Meredith and Abbey, both full backs were fantastic in stopping crosses entering the box and it stopped Kidderminster from having a threat from the flanks. Good point.


Forest Green vs York

Once again outplayed away from home, hopefully this won't continue away from home. We gave away the ball a lot again and couldn't get the ball down for 5 minutes and slow it down like we usually do away from home, and Forest Green will feel unlucky not to of won this. Once again Abbey and Meredith were great at full back.


York vs Salisbury

Another 0-0 draw for the 3rd game in a row. It's great that we're playing so well defensively, but you clearly can't win games without scoring and we need to start scoring fast. We were all over Salisbury for the 90 minutes, having 64% possession and their keeper was amazing, saving from point blank range countless times. At least this time we dominated instead of being dominated ourselves, hopefully we can start scoring again.


Kettering vs York

I was slowly forgetting what scoring a goal looked like, but we changed that this game against a poorly organised Kettering side. Goals from Bryan, Pitt & Brodie were enough to see off the challenge of Kettering to give us our first win in 3 games. Still unbeaten (H).

Looking at the table, there's now a 7 point gap between us and 7th which was probably because of our 3 games where we drew 0-0, but I'm fairly confident if we keep Brodie, Jones & Meredith fit who have all been key so far, we can get into the play offs :)

brodie and rankine are doing well on my kidderminster save for york, some decent results, you have to start winning or it gets hard, teams like altrincham and cambridge are defensive bastards but you must grind out the wins

Yeah Brodie is class, but Rankine is a bit meh for me.

Altrincham were defensive little ***** all game and just hoofed it up the pitch everytime they got the ball, so annoying. Cambridge were kind of defensive but they are really slow so it was easy to beat them with a fast striker like Brodie :)
 
Great new layouts mate, may have to steal it :) Keep up the great work.
 
By York's standards your doing ace Max, if you can keep this up and stay in the play-off positions then what a season you would have had.

I new Brodie would get you goals, he is a goal machine in that league and league 2.

Lawless is great in the center if the park at this level.

Keep It Up.

4. You are doing great but you have made a mistake I think, where you said "Looking at the table, there's now a 7 point gap between us and 7th" but I think you meant 1st as you are 7 points from 1st but 5 points ahead of 7th place.
 
Doin well if you could get play offs this season you'd have done really well :)

Might have to change my tactic soon because I'm finding we're not creating enough chances in games, I've got it set to have creative freedom on disciplined, so I might change it to default as I've just had two games where I've had to have equalise in the last minutes.

Yeah Jones is class :D Yeah layout is good, Dan's originally.
