Once again I started my day at 6 am, the military routine might just be back for good on match days. It gives me time to get my head together and focus on the tasks at hand.

I arrived at the office for 7am, my assistant Mila greeted me with a warm hearted good morning as always. Short, luscious brown hair, perky ******* and her all round charm, Mila is very easy on the eyes and gives you that boost when you arrive in the morning. She seems ambitious and always eager to do her job to maximum efficiency, an attribute I admire in anyone.

Her father died about 8 months ago of lung cancer forcing her to give up her studies and find work to support her family. Rumour around the tea room is that she harassed the chairman with phone calls and letters for weeks before he caved in and hired her. Of course I pay no such attention to rumours and whispers.

The squad arrived for our light training session which seems to be going down well with the lads on match days, followed by a light lunch and further team bonding via poker and computer games. High Tower seems to be making a name of himself at the old Texas Hold’em.

FBK Kaunas 4 – 0 Lifosa

Another comfortable win, with a few minor lapses in defence. Baldy was on top form tonight and managed to bag a brace, everyone seems to be really adapting to the formation and our lads are really showing off there ability at this level.

High Tower’s poker form mirrored off in the match as he leaped like a salmon to power home our second goal mid way through the first half.

Czech winger Tommask looks to be out to prove something to his parent club after another lung bursting display on the flank. He set up Baldy for his second and slotted home our 4th late on with a powerful free kick.

My only concern is The Serb’s performance at the back, he looked UN focused and was often caught ball watching, giving away possession cheaply or getting rid of the ball like it was a game of hot potatoes. It gave me the impression he had something on his mind and I planned to talk with him about it.

After congratulating the players on another fine display and another Saturday off, I did the usual media stuff, I cannot stand it really, by far the worst part of management so far. They are like a pack of vultures just waiting to pick you off.

The main focus of there questioning seemed to be about Baldy’s performance and if I felt he was on the verge of a return to the Lithuanian national side. Andrius Ksanavicus was removed from the national set up in December 08 after falling out of favour at Hearts.

I gave the typical response which seemed to annoy most of the vultures.

My day was over by 7pm and as I headed to my car, I remembered the shock when I turned on my phone last week, I looked down this week to a feeling of disappointment that I had no incoming messages.

I arrived home bracing myself for another night alone.

I remember Dr Vengos well from his one season with Celtic, I am sure he brought Lubo to the club.

Sunday 17th May 2009

The last month has flown past, I feel like the pieces are really coming together now. We have now won 5 games on the bounce and our latest victory on Wednesday, a 3-0 home win over Savinge, was especially delightful since they are a division above us.

Squad morale is high and everyone feels pretty good about the way we are playing and how I am running the club. I am even getting regular praise from the media vultures, attendances are up….a bit and people on the street are starting to recognise my face, Which to be honest was a bit disturbing at first, however one can adapt.

Our other results in the last few weeks saw us travel to Spyris and go home with a well earned and hard fought 1-0 victory. We then continued our fine home form with a comprehensive 4-0 win over Baltai. We sit a proud at the top of the league having scored 14 goals and conceding 0. We travel away to second place Granitas on the 22nd of May, after the current international break.

Most of my time is still spent at home, either going over match notes, scout reports, travelling to watch future opponents, watching my mighty Liverpool through away yet another title or getting my drink on.

It is becoming easier to hide the aftermath of my binging sessions, running to training followed by a cold shower usually does the trick. I tend to keep spare clothing in the office to avoid discomfort.

I do however feel that Mila is catching on, young people more than most, can tell when someone is rough. However we have been growing close these past few weeks and she seems trustworthy. I let her away early to be with her family and she often comes to me for advise or to be social during my office hours.

"Yeah the bad boys are always catching my eye"

Seemed appropriate.

Sirk = Naughty boy for drinking too much ;)

Anyway, bring on the Sirkster

Like the story so far kris.keep it up!
