'Good morning, It's 6:00AM and you are listening to KFMA 45.8. This is Saturday and it's 'The Breakfast Show' with me, Viktoria Yanko. This morning we speak to...'

I wake abruptly to the sound of the morning radio.Sweating and breathless i manage a whisper 'Just a dream' and i repeat it a few times before catching my breath in re leaf. Drifting my arm past the empty vodka bottle i shut off the clock radio, sit up and try gather my thoughts.

Most of last night was a complete blur, I have not had a nightmare since i was a child and the images running though my head were a distraction i could do without on a matchday. The best thing i could do right now is forget the whole thing.

I had not planned on drinking on the eve of a match, although i am normally prepared for my morning jog to recover from the hangovers. I dd not have a suit in my office. I text Mila asking her to urgently drop by my place and pick up my suit, Using the excuse i wanted to jog and could not take it with me.

I wonder if she will see through the Lie?

I left my address with her and a set of keys with security. Taking the opertunity to poke around and ask questions regarding who gets in to see the residents.

Last night was a shakey experience and if keeping my mind at ease makes sure that kind of thing never happens again then i was going to make **** sure i was safe here.

Today's game is at home to Sveikata, Since our 1-0 away defeat to Granitas on the 22nd of May, we have went on a 5 match winning run. We sit top of the league and are a respectable 4 points clear of 2nd place Granitas.

Morale within the squad is high and i feel the squad and the staff have built up a high rapor. I feel this helped us again today as we won the game infront of a shocking crowd of 239 people.

Czech winger Tommasak bagged himself a hat trick and Baldy managed to get his 9th goal of the season.

Granitas drew 2-2 at home with Lifosa, a result which moves us 6 points clear at the top of the league after 9 league games.

So...considering how my day started, I am fairly pleased with it's end.

So wait, was the whole knife thing a dream?

If so, nice twist there. If not I am confused.

Will try and involve more people if that is what people want, I was not sure if it would get boring or not.

It's not my strongest point but i will try.

Saturday 4th July 2009 (cont)

It was around 8pm and having just settled down infront of the tv to watch the Liverpool highlights, I was startled by the buzzer on the door. That horrible dream still fresh in my mind, I delayed answering. After a few more loud and frankly irritating sounds of the door, I felt i should 'man up' and see who it was.

'Yes' I ask hesitantly

'Mr Noskcaj, It's me, Mila. May i come in'

'Well...yes of course you can'

I buzz Mila into the building, realising that i am in my boxer shorts and my 1974 reds shirt, I run to change. I had no idea why she was here, I only hope she isn't in any sort of trouble.

The door knocks and I hop past the sofa, still trying to get the other leg into my jeans. Composing myself, I answer the door.

'Mila, what the **** are you doing here?' I asked with a mixture of confusion, concern but also excitement that she was here.

'Well, I wasn't doing anything tonight so i thought...'

Interupting her I jokingly replied ' You thought I would have nothing better to do on a Saturday night'

She Blushed, 'No, I knew you didn't know very many people yet' She drifted off

'Ohh and besides, drinking alone sucks!' She grinned as I offered her a seat.

It was the first time since back in Moscow with Selma that I have had such an enjoyable evening. I'm not sure if that's because I have been alone here since my arrival or if I really liked Mila's company.

Occasionally i would think and wonder who was worst, the girl in her early 20's hanging around with her boss?, or the old man gawking over his attractive young secretary?. Either way, I had some company for once and it was exciting.

We shared a bottle of wine and dscussed both our lives and where we felt they were going, or where would we like them to be in the future. Mila also felt the need to rummage through my cd collection. One of my worst pet hates.

Growing up I didn't have a great interest in music. It was only when i joined the army that i appreciated the sounds of different cultures and the're musical tastes. Frankly i found it embarassing that Mila had never heard of Glen Miller.

I felt old. :'(

Time had flown past, As it does. We both decided to call it a night. I walked Mila downstairs and hailed her a cab. After an awkward moment of hesitation, She hugged me.

'Tonight was great, Thanks. Oh and sorry for turning up unannounced' She smiled as she got into the taxi

'Hey, don't worry about it, It was great. Thank you again' Did i have to sound like she had just served me dinner?

As her Taxi drove off, I walked back into the building taking a deep sigh. Unsure if i should be happy or ashamed that i enjoyed myself tonight.
