TacticOFtheYEAR, mate, its me again :) I have been tweaking your tactics and set pieces, and I have finally had some success.
My first season I lost to Barcelona in CL 1-6 away, and got out of competition, while playing original V2 with 3 strikers. While set pieces work, I found a way to improve them greatly for myself.
I have 2 shapes that I am testing now. 4-2-3-1 with 2 wingers and AMC, and 4-3-3 with 1 DMC and 2 wingers. Only 1 striker in both. This improved teams play, scoring open goals and etc. But here is some info concerning your original tactics:
Often after a corner/long throw, outer F9 that recieves the ball, just shoots from narrow angle, not passing to open CM's. In my 4-3-3 David Silva as AML with great vision and passing always passes the ball to CM's. Set piece works the same as in your original tactics, so I think it would really improve set piece performance if STL and STR had great passing and vision, and most importantly I think "Looks for a pass rather than attempting to score" PPM for STL and STR would really improve your tactic. Not sure so you can test it, but for me in V2 my strikers often waste chances with shots into keeper.
I will also continue with my 4-3-3 and 4-2-3-1 formations because I like them more than a 3 striker formation. I am not saying they are better than V2 original, I just like them more, and set pieces work exact same with small tweak. Cheers, pls look into "Looks for a pass rather than attempting to score" PPM.

nice testin m8.. yeri know SS would be better in some ways. because of better vision / passing. but almost got a V3 done

TOTY do you reccomend running channels, hit first time and beat offside trap for all strikers or only central one? Interesting point by Pavleg to maximise CML long range threat via training STL and STR "pass rather than attempting to score" PPM.

BTW tac is very powerful for me. At the moment I play Lpool season 22/23 and winning all competitions all the time. :) I found that high marking and tackling skills for CMs prevent conceding easy goals.

yes, i like not conceded in three opening league games, but version 3 should contain your thoughts

I have just tried this tactic with USA. To friendlies:

Zambia-USA 1-5
Finland-USA 4-7

I didn't play my best team in any of the games. Our best midfielder, Michael Bradley, was injuried. Very entertaining!! Altidore scored one crazy goal against Zambia:

So I have played a season with Cordoba in La Liga (media prediction 20th). Wasn't happy about original shape, so finally tweak everything to suit me.
All 2014 games used 4-3-3 with DM, after that switched to 4-2-3-1 AMC. What did I tweak:
1. Offensive corners just a bit, so they would work as in original tactics.
2. Changed defensive corners after conceding 5 from corners in like 3-4 games. Worked wonders for me, didn't concede from corner ever since.
3. Shape, obviously. 4-2-3-1 worked better in my opinion. Because I was leaking goals and DM was sacrifised in favor of scoring and outscoring opposition, didn't think that improving defense by setting counter mentality and other tweaks would work.
4. Remove hard tackling from CB's. Lost some pretty important games because of red cards.
5. FB roles, and corrected PI's of offensive players.

Funny thing, when I was man down, tried removing everyone, nothing clearly worked. Then in 2 games I removed one of CB's, and those were the games I won and outscored opposition. So, again, we score more than you type of tactic(H).
Overall now I am very happy with the setup and with player roles in tactic, really love 4-2-3-1 formation. I am not saying it is better than original by all means, I just tweaked to something I like and something that works very very well for me.
I attach some of the screenshots from my season. All 2014 fixtures were played with 4-3-3 DM, remaining with 4-2-3-1 AMC. After 15.03.15 Malaga game all the small tweaks were finished.
Maybe I forgot something I wanted to tell, I will add later.
Cheers again for the man himself, creator of this beautiful tactics TacticOFtheYEAR!

upload your tweak??

EDIT:
Set pieces were wrong. Fixed version has them correct. I am sorry for the mistake, for some reason set pieces did not save correctly. Please redownload and try this fix. I tested it for several matches and all set pieces work great.

Okay mate.
Here are my tweaks. I reccomend one with AMC if it suits your team, but you can try both.
OI same as OP, LB - right corner, RB - left corner. Manage yellow card carefully and substitute players who get them. AML preferably right footed, AMR preferably left footed (but doesn't matter that much, use typical right footed winger there). Both AMR/AML duties can be changed to suit your team, I just prefer them this way. You can have 2 IF's of 2 Wingers or mirror, just put them on support. FB-A behind Winger and WB-A behind IF if you tweak, I think it encourages better movement in transition and attacking phases.
PPM's:
CM's - the same as OP. Also "curls ball" should be awesome for long shots, can only be learned via tutoring though. "Tries first time shots" is good so CM's can shoot before they are marked by opposition, but this PPM requires high technique, probably above 14.
Striker - mine 2 had none, one man scored 23 other 12, I don't feel that they are nessesary.
AMC - "runs the ball often" might help if he is good dribbler, "gets into opposition area" too, "plays one twos" as well. All those might help but not really mandatory.
AMR/AML - "looks for a pass rather than attempting to score", if you can teach them, should improve corner situations.
DL/DR/DC - bullet throw, it changes throw in situations to corner situations. But if your taker is injured, you just won't have a chance to score from throw in, but corners will still work. Try to avoid "dives into tackles" because they increase yellow cards.
If anybody needs I can tell about some attributes that I look for as well.

I hope TacticOFtheYEAR doesn't mind me posting this small tweak here. All the credit goes to thread starter, amazing work and beautiful tactic, my tweak is not better or anything, it is just to suit my personal taste in formation and type of players. Thank you again TacticOFtheYEAR!

i play with this tactic and i make a lot of chances, but every shot on my goal is a goal! defending is not good from this tactic
