nothing convincing here but its 3 points which are vital at this stage in the season

bolton were on good form and had pulled themselfs out of the religation battle but this result was a disgrace in the performance and that we now have to go to old trafford and win and hope arsenal or liverpool loose

this performance was our season in a whole, when we score we dont oftain get beat. Arsenal drew 0-0 with wolves so we got 4th place too so big improvments needed for the champions leauge next season where we might draw a game, somehing we didnt do all season

In the leauge Villa won the leauge on goal difference which is quite annoying as we were 2 points ahead of villa before the west ham game. Also something to note arsenal, chelsea and man utd miss out in the champions leauge. Will Fergie get the chop after only coming 10th in the leauge
 
Ok forget about the champions leauge Chelsea just won it this season and finished outside the top 4 so i've been demoted to the european cup, gutted!!!
 
I've also just tured down my dream job, replacing Alex ferguson at Man Utd but still hav a job to do here at boro although dont think i could jump to anther english club at this point, However also turned down valencia job and theyare in the champions leauge next year, like we should be!
 
I really wish people wouldn't name threads like this, coz i always think its real!
 
A reasonable summer of progress i feel from the riverside, tryed to get a more english look about the team but with the mony i had and players i was looking to replace it was just impossible. Our first team does look alot stronger
Lescott in to replace Kryvtos, Hargreaves to bulk up the midfield, Ben Afra for o'neil and lichtsteiner and Kolarov from lazio to take over as our wingbacks
With these changes i hope our defense will be alot more solid than last year now we have better and more experianced players in for the yougsters who were moving onto bigger teams, and these changes will hopfully bring us a major trophy this season

almost identical to the first leg a close fought game where we did all we needed to do but with a much weeker team including our youngest ever scorer aged just 16 and 132 days

this game was MUCH closer than the score suggests with it being level for all about 80 of the 93 minutes only dzeko's late winner put us on the way then gary o'neil made the score look better

we were the better team just couldnt put the ****** thing in the net, first leauge draw in about 1000 years as well

again were probably just the better team but an away point to the champions is more than welcome

a late goal by the ukrainian got us off to the best possible start in the group

a walk over with the weekest side i could put out, could play any of my good youth because they had just played, also lewandowski showed what back up we have if either striker get injured

overall a solid start to the season if unspectacular but were still undefeated and the defense has looked alot better and that was the aim of pre season, and Dzeko has been on top form at last!

A welcome away point againt one of our rivals but its a bit dissapointing after leading for 60 minutes

Overall a good start to the season would now say were a top 4 team on strenght still lacking that killer touch of a championship winning team but we'll have to see how we gel from here . Also through in europe with 2 games to spare and just need 1 point to win to guarrentee a group win

April brought me the manager of the month and somehow dzeko wasnt player of the month?
Looking good for the leauge another two wins should do the trick, should manage that against wigan at home and hull and west brom away

Donald leaves Boro for Barca

Middlesboro's most successfull ever manager Darran Donald has today resigned as the clubs manager after accepting a offer from Spanish Giants Barcalona Donald claimed it was a very difficult decision to leave a team of players and staff he "built from scrap" but having conqured england the offer to try and take barcalona back to the top of spanish and world football was to tempting. Donald thanked Steve Gibson and everyone connected with Middlesbrough for there support in his time there and wishes them and the club success in the future.

Moving onto Barcalona he was quick to tell his squad that non of them were safe at the team and he will be looking to build the strongest squad possible what that means for the current squad we'll have to wait and see!

Wow you've done really well with such an average team.. I don't think you should have left, you've just killed the story, why didn't you just go for the Champions League?
 
Like in real life a bigger and better job came up and i took it when they came to me with it. Even i i had stayed with Boro the only thing i had left to do was win the CL so im not too worried now, mayb i'll regret it but im not thinking like that as now all im thinking of is winning bigger trophys with a bigger team
 
I use 4-2-2-2, altoug if it doesnt work with a certain team i've been known o edit it to fit

In my first month at Barca i've torn the team up and rebuilt it with the best players i can get at under £50m to bild a better overall squad rather than just individuals as well as some stronger squad players. Only Further change i can see happning is Chygrynskyi and Ibrahimovic being sold and a u19 winger coming in and that should leave us with £20m to improve on squad depth in january
