Burnley Announce Changes for the Upcoming Season
Burnley Football Club would like to announce the managerial changes made at the club on the 7th of July. Brian Laws has quit his job days after accepting the role to concentrate on a career as a journalist, and we have quickly looked to hire young manager Michael Henson as the new manager of Burnley Football Club.
We would like to thank Brian Laws for his effort during his short time at the club, and the work and effort he has put it behind the scenes also in the short time he has been here. Brian was a fan favourite here as a player and will be missed by the loyal Burnley fans.
We ensure you Michael Henson is the man for this job, and that he can consolidate a respesctable position in the Premier League within a few seasons. We don't expect him to be in the top half this season, and we hope to consolidate in the season safely without relegation fears of any kind. Financially we will be backing him with a budget of around £4m, we feel this is enough money to bring in any players he needs, and also enough to shift on to the wage budget if he should go over it.
Michael Henson was later quoted as saying...
I’m delighted to take on such a good job with a great opportunity of getting into Europe in a few seasons, I hope it will work out for me and hopefully I can bring the likes of Barcelona and Inter Milan to Turf Moor within the next few years. I’ll be looking to add to the squad with a few experienced players brought into the club on free transfers and hopefully some youth to turn into future superstars.
Hope people will follow
