I have run an analyse of my players stats and Thompson
The first 3 years (2014) i did not develop any new points on my players stats. Thompson developed 52 points!
From 2012 - 2023 i had 77 point added,Thompson had 153
(Schalke do not know how to develope players!)
From the year 2021-2022 i lost 3 points and Thompson remained on the same. A Bad year for developement

I think it was good for Thompson to be at West-Ham and getting lots of first team experience.
It shows that this is important for developement i think
