Im not sure about this one. I usually only sticky a thread thats going to be helpfull to the whole site, like a well written guide or template.

Ill leave this one up to an admin.

Fair enough JP, my thinking was that the thread might make the CotM competition more community based if members felt they had made a contribution.

Yes, im not going to delete a thread just because someone asks. If its closed people can still see it but not post in it. Deleting it means other users wont be able to find any useful info which may or may not be there.

But what if, the creator of the thread wants it deleted? Will you just close it, still, or would you follow what the thread's creator said?

We will only be closing threads. When a thread is deleted that means everyone's posts are deleted within that thread, not really fair, particularly when someone may of written something useful and informative in that thread.
