OCTOBER 2009 Since I had already done screenshots for October, player stats won't be this month, in November yes they will be.
EUROPA LEAGUE Hapoel Tel-Aviv 0Manchester City 2
First half I thought we were excellent, especially Dzeko in his first start. Glad to get the three points here but not glad about the Silva injury. Second half wasn't that convincing though.MOTM - Edin Dzeko (9.0)
Manchester City 4Wigan Athletic 0
The first half I was very pleased with. You cannot really ask for more when you find yourself 4-0 up at the break. Kolo Toure's goal was spectacular and so was Tevez's performanceMOTM - Carlos Tevez (9.5)
International duty injuries Yaya Toure again about 2-3 weeks.
Arsenal 1Manchester City 4
FANTASTIC! I really did not believe what I was seeing. We totally outplayed them and completely hammered them. I seriously didn't expect this away to ARSENAL. Almunia's dreadful error for the first goal got things going, before Walcott equalised. David Silva then scored after a fantastic run from Tevez. Tevez then scored goal of the season so far for us, running from his own-half before chipping it over Almunia from 25-yards. Was a superb goal, before Johnson put the icing on the cake. By far our best performance so far and by far the best three points we picked up, especially as it boosts our goal difference alot more than just winning it by 1 goal. Amazing.MOTM - Carlos Tevez (9.5)
EUROPA LEAGUE Manchester City 2Vorskla 1
This was nothing like our Arsenal performance. We really struggled to break them down throughout the first half and were rescued by another wondergoal by Tevez, him and Silva are playing everyone on their own at the moment. I personally would give the second goal to Shawcross as it only took a minor deflection off the keeper. To sum it all up, average.MOTM - Carlos Tevez (8.7)
No games at the weekend once again:S
CARLING CUP Stoke City 1Manchester City 2
The first half was very boring with 1 main highlight, a long range effort, so nothing to really shout about there. Second half really lit up and got entertaining, with us knocking on the door for 7 minutes before Dzeko tapped home. Toure's screamer looked to have wrapped it up but extremely poor defending saw Gudjohnson somehow find himself in lots of space to get one back. Stoke pushed very late on but we hung on.MOM - James Milner (8.8)
End of October table (well, after our last game)
Also, should I do updates for every half month? November probably coming tomorrow.
