Unless changed in recent patches, i highly recommend you use oliver Torres (on loan ad FCP) as much as you can. He will turn into a creative beast a few seasons in. (only midtfielder i ever played with more assists than games 30+)

Thanks Conn. Have you used V6 with Atletico by any chance and does the rest of the squad I have there look about right?
 
No crew2 i havent, i jsut came to this tactic on my testing journey and havent tested it yet.
Things goign a bit slow here due to working on my mothers porch all day long most days. (she bribe me with homecooked meals :p )

If you're using an update that has even more new players you're going to struggle for a while. Even without the update you'll get lethargic performances with Liverpool due to Mignolet, Sakho, Cissockho, Aspas, Moses ect etc.. On top of that Suarez is out at the beginning and the whole team is quite young and won't deal with pressure and expectations that well in the beginning. How do you get over it? Patience and clever player picking. I've just run this tactic with the original Liverpool team (no update, no transfers) and won the league comfortably with only two losses away from home (Tottenham and Everton).

My advice is you have AT LEAST 4 weeks in pre-season of team cohesion. Also your last 4-5 pre-season games should be against easy opposition for morale reasons. When playing matches, this might sound like common sense, but "help" your new signings along their first 4-5 games of the season. Praise them individually if they're doing well, tell them there's no pressure if they're unperforming the first couple of games. Be easy on youngsters and they'll feel less pressured and perform. On top of that if they feel good they play good and if they play good they develop and they become better players. No brainer really :)

Already had v6 plugged into my Liverpool "test" season so I quickly tried v7 for 10 games. Not a big fan of the AP role for the MC but the BWM seems to be a better choice at DMC. So I tried the DLP settings from v6 and it's a lot more stable. I think DLP and BWM is the way forward my friend :)
 
If you get one player sent off, what tactical changes would you make?

I'm going to give this another try with Liverpool, like I said a couple of days ago, V6 didnt work well for me but V5 was incredible. Hopefully V7 will do well for me!

I'm doing superb with Atletico with V6. 20 games in the league - 18 wins, 1 draw (after a red card) and 1 loss (2-1 away to Real Madrid but they had a penalty and scored from a free kick).

If I switch to V7 now will it mess up my results or should it improve them? I don't want it to mess up familiarity or my performances.

Im sick in be so not realy getting much screens out regulary, but wil lscreen half way through season that now includes losing first league match 4-2 away to west ham and wining 9-0 record winvs Victoria Plzen in CL.

I'd stick with V6 tbh. I noticed now that the CD's have tight marking added and it's causing problems with the defence. I noticed when I was looking over the player instructions. I don't think playing that high of a line and tight marking is such a good idea. However the BWM role is a good one. I'd suggest unticking tight marking on the CD's, change the AP to DLP and unticking dribble more and you'll see good results coming through.

Im playing v7 in November 2027, would the same apply to that? my results have been ok so far as Villarreal altho ive swapped to this 12 games through the season and won 3-0 v Standard (Euro cup) 2-1 v Real Madrid at home and lost 2-0 to Athletico away from home. Both the latter 2 teams seem to dominate a lot and my player performances havent been great really. Tactic isnt fluid yet ofc

Why don't you give it a go and tell me? You did win against Real though so that's not bad. Dunno what your team looks like in 2027. Away to Atletico you could of easily played with a DLP rather then an AP cause it wouldv'e given you more stability in midfield.

Well, most of the teams are regens at this point in the game. I used to have a great tactic for the previous 4 clubs ive managed but its not updated to the new patch now so ive been looking for something more solid. Hopefully this can be it altho im not a fan of such a high D-line, theres only one way to find out if its any good!

I'll get back to you and post some of my results :)
 
Can someone post the player instructions for the BWM at DM will change that as that seems to be the only effective change to the new tactic, should have added those set pieces i mentioned as well
 
Won the league by a long way and the spanish cup as atletico. Brilliant for me.

Although FC Bayern battered me away 4 1 in the champs cup semi final. I wish there was a version of the tactic specifically for games like that because a treble would have been great
 
Striker has just been terrible for me, no idea how to get him scoring

Played with all different type of strikers and they just don't score or assist, any tweaks out there? hate the dlf(s)
