Monstrous 4-2-3-1 Plug & Play

Im using V_7 and Vietto and Herniquez + barbosa is scoring loads for me.
Rooney works best as AMRC, but there i got mata so time to sell the old bug i think :p
 
I've got Lukaku/ Kone as i'm playing with Everton and been 7 games he hasn't got assist or a single goal, i know he is more of a AF but i would of expected him to atleast get a goal!

Changed it to a AF and changed some of the PI and hope to see him score, as i can't rely on my wingers every game!

Most likely just the strikers i have or whatever but can't deal with DLF(s) with the players i got atm :P

Homer, Lukaku's got 10 Passing and 10 Technique but you can expect to see assistances from striker in EPL if he's got at least 14 Passing and 14 Technique and you can give him any roles but it won't help. :P Goals are different story...
 
Heh -)) my patience is running out -)) I'm still getting 30-40% better results with Unreal than this... probably I'll make one more update and just leave it be... :)

Ive found my results pretty inconsistent with this tbh. I won 2 lose 1 or win 1 draw 1 then lose one. Cant seem to get a winning streak going. I'm giving unreal a blast 2. Seems a bit more consistent so far.

Altho same as with any tactic, i find that once you score a goal, the opposition only starts getting the upper hand a bit more because the AI manager changes something in their approach and hence they start coming at you more. I've noticed more lately that the tempo of their game is the key.

Every time i score i have increased my tempo and they cant get back into the game. I dont know if anyone else has ever tried this at all? But by doing this against 2 "lesser" teams, i have won easily. Against better teams, its not always that simple. They may swap to overload or contain for example but the AI 99% of the time WILL change something. Tinkering like this means its up to you to spot whats changed and counter it :)

Changing the tempo in Team Instructions will decrease the familiarity of the tactic because your team isn't trained in that style of play. So it could cause you to concede more in theory because your team will be like: WTF is going dude, we don't how to play like this!!

Unless you have 3 tactics with 3 different tempo's off course, then they will be trained and this can be used more effectively!
 
I'm using this tactic in my current Tottenham Hotspur series on YouTube. I can understand using the counter mentality when I'm the underdog, but should I still use the counter mentality when facing lesser teams? I would assume no, that it should be controlling.

Januzaj is a beast om AMR, and om AML i got Raus, Heung-Min and Schurrle.

Rotating Angelo Hernandez, Vietto and Rooney as striker.

can't complaine....

I did change AP to DLP in awaygames and tough games to get more stability in the midtfield, and it has improved my away resoults. (not tuched anything beside that)

Now tottenham....

1-0 Vietto, funny goal.. replay of MK Dons goal vs united yesterday. Runs on it and "chests" it into the net:

4-0, hat trick by Vietto, can't complaine as i totaly dominated and could have scored more if not for Lloris.

Later today or tomorrow I'll make update to this. I'm getting very strong results right now. Ehh... it's still worse than Unreal but it shows best performance for P&P I've managed to achieve so far :)

Tested with v6 from the highlighted Dortmund game onwards at full fluididty due to other tactcs, Borini scored a hatrick against me and liverpool had 4 CCCs when i beat them 3-0 but overall I'm very happy so far, beating Chelsea was no easy feat as they are running away with the title.

Also there're new corner and throw-in set up. Make sure that player who set "Lurk Outside Area" during attacking corner don't take corners because it's important.

Prior 14.2.0 patch I was able to achieve number like this for the season:

But "far post" cross was fixed in patch 14.2.0. Heh... now I'm trying somehow re-create it.

Jonny, how many do you score for the season with corner setup you recommend?
 
Played 10 games on full highlights with the new version TFF9. Looks a lot better, love the fullback play and AP, it's very nice on the eye. I would agree with what Conn said further up that in tougher games play the MCL as a DLP on support and remove dribble more. He makes more interceptions and he'll be able to support attacks better rather then being part of them.

It was prior 14.2.0 patch... but I put in latest version of this tactic the new corner setup which I think could be such efficient, I'll test it a bit more and if I keep getting good results with then I'll also put it in Unreal.

Do you ever change the mentality on hard away games to counter? Or just staying control?
