Maybe you can try this? :) I've just started testing it in my custom db, but it looks very promising! It doesn't do too well if you're a heavy underdog in an away match, but other than that, it's splendid so far. It's a merge of the 5-3-2 Spin the Wheel and the 3-4-3 Heavy Metal! I can't promise anything yet though, as it's still under construction :)

Hey, Mr. L I need an advice. Playing with Spurs with the 3-4-3 tactic and almost all of the goals, that I have conceded so far are the same - long pass which goes behind the backs of my 3 CBs... is there something that could be done?

Get quick CB's with high concentration! :) You could also do deeper D-line when you're against smaller teams (they are the most likely to do long balls).

I believe Dier is one of the best and considering he's at your club should be an easy option. The only others that are 14+ Concentration 15+ Pace Acc are Otamendi and Abdennour.
 
I am trying to reduce amount of golas received so looking for best role combination for central defenders

anybody received less the 15 goals in one full season

I mean, I know we're used to a lot over the last couple of iterations of FM, but asking for less than 15 goals a season is ridiculess.
 
I might do some switching both in starting tactic, but also some where in the match, useing the 4-4-1-1 and secondary tactic. have you seen a high number of injuries in your testing? just got to october 2015 in the save, and havn't been able to field my strongest line up more than once so far.

might even try the 3-4-3 if I can fit it on my Man utd squad :)

Yeah the ME is funny this year, same with player ratings... lost a game 3-0, all the players except my keeper(Romero) got 6.x ratings and the keeper got a 9.1...
