First of all, TFF's Ultimate isn't his best tactic :P Second of all, it's very hard to distinguish which is "the best" of the top tactics in the test, because GD and points are so close to each other, and when you have to take into account SOME randomness, even though we remove alot of it, then there is no way to tell for sure.

Not sure about corner taker, in the test I haven't set a specific one, as that would give my team an advantage over the other tactics tested. About gabigol, I don't know who that is (I rarely play the game itself, I mostly just create and test tactics). No OI's.

I'm Liverpool 1st season. Which tactic would you recommend me using and building a squad around?
 
Using your 433 with Northampton atm and it's going to be difficult to judge your tactic based on the fact that this club's finances are awful (Administration) so I can't sign anyone and the club starts with -12 points. I'll keep you updated anyay.

In addition, it's a 4-3-3, so I have no idea how that will turn out for weaker sides :) But will be interesting to follow nevertheless :P
 
Got my first win with Northampton 3-0 away against Exeter. For me anyway my squad creates much more chances when I play my paciest striker on the right. My main Center back is out and I can't sign anyone due to wage limits. Dark times ahead I think.
 
I'm still tweaking, tweaking, and tweaking some more on the 4-3-3 to try to make it perfect btw :) I've prob done around 40 full tests (62 matches each test) by now, for that tactic alone :) Still haven't found something hugely performance increasing :P So, this takes soooo much time.... :P But, I really like that formation, fun to build a team around, so I will do all in my power to perfect it :)
 
Second away game and I drew 4-4 against Stevenage. Obviously no fault of the tactic, I just have no squad depth what-so-ever. My main goalscorer is injured now and I can't even hire an assistant manager due to wages lol

By the way, for LLM, I think you should put "dribble less" on player instructions for the whole team (unless you actually have a good dribbler, then he can keep "dribble more"). By "the whole team" I mean the DLFs and the CMs, as the others cannot be changed due to their roles.

This is actually a tweak that has same performance as "dribble more" even for top teams. So for LLM, it should make the tactic much better.

Tactic is nearly fluid so I hope that helps. I appreciate the tweak anyway and I'll definitely try it. Might get appropriate results in January when hopefully I can loan in some players...

Seem to have a problem with the opposition full backs overlapping the wingers and scoring via crosses. Seems as though the mcl and mcr don't offer as much defensive stability as let's say your wingers on a 442. Might have to try man marking and see how it goes.

That's sort of a given considering the formation difference :) The 4-4-2 (deep) will always be my most stable one defensively :) The 4-3-3 concedes double the amount of goals... :P

Still tweaking the 4-3-3, now trying with OI's. Insane start of the current test... Especially notice the home matches...

But still great in defence? Seems that when when you look at your test team results. I have to try 433 soon. Just won The Tippeliga with Viking first season with a tactic from another forum member. Mr Langvatn is and will always be a master of tactics.
